Those variations of stabs on triplet beat seem deceptively simple. I need to get on the counting train more. I can play it alone ok but getting it in the pocket with drums or bass if I'm not playing every beat of triplets I seem to keep falling back into 1/4 note beat

I don’t know if this means im learning more and finally “starting” to catch on or if im totally lost beyond saving …..yet here iam… no root in your G shape really messed me up,broke out the old ted green book ,open chord apps and def dont see as your shape as wrong but def lacking the G….forgive me if i missed it / or im just a complete moron 🤷🏼‍♂️…but why ? Just for ease of chord ,or to leave it ambiguous for during the progression ? Ugh only on 2nd cup of coffee ,i know i have to be making this more difficult than it is …thats my routine it seems …imma gonna just finish off the video ,and my coffee …then try amd set up some time to go through more of bgu 2.0 that i seem to always forget about …..
