I don't think we will ever be able to fully realise the significance of this victory of Sri Lankan women. I'm pretty sure there is an enormous gulf between the amount of money pumped into women's cricket in India especially after the advent of WPL & that of women's cricket in Sri Lanka. Imagine what Sri Lankan women can achieve if they are given more support & infrastructure. Absolutely brilliant from them. Indian women's team needs to improve a lot. They were so poor in the field & with the ball. This is a reality check for the Indian women's team. I hope they improve & perform better in the future.
