Spinal disc L4 and L5 How to stop the pain

Published 2020-02-16
For almost one year, I had noticed that I had lower back pain. One day the pain was so bad that i went to an orthopedic doctor. I was diagnosed with degenerating spinal discs. This meant that due to aging the cartilage in my spine was thinning and therefore certain discs (L4-L5) were close to touching. Most orthopedic doctors and physical therapist admitted that pilates and core training was very valuable. Since I study yoga I began to look seriously into the matter and began my yoga and calisthenics training to included more core related training AND THE PAIN STOPPED!!! Today, I feel no more pain, so I wanted to share in this video what I did t stop my lower back pain. Of course there are other exercises that one can do, but here is a start. I hope that this video can help someone like myself.

  • Thanks Tim. Thankfully I'm still strong enough to do these. You mentioned hanging from a bar, does that also help?
