i suggest you to complete story with Xiangling and the main story first! Dragonspine is really dangerous for now. also to get to the Liyue you need to find a road near the Dawn Winery and head to the left, but the city will be way down on the map. if you need tips, you can ask!

I actually recommend finishing the Mondstadt story line first before going to Dragonspine, that is definitely a jump up in difficulty

When you Swirl for example, Ice Slimes, it does anemo damage and ice damage to them, but since ice slimes are pure ice element, they are immune to that ice damage that the swirl does when you swirl them with their own element. I hope that clears that up haha

Ascending a character is when you level them up past a level cap by providing their Ascension materials. Your characters that are already at level 20 now have the option to ascend to the next set of 20 levels but you must first acquire the appropriate materials. Pulling multiple characters is how you get constellation for those characters which improve on an ad to their abilities

Remember, you can send your characters on longer expeditions for bigger rewards, I personally send them to the longest ones, 20 hours, because then I don't have to check it too often. You did send them on 4 hour ones, which is less reward but is done faster! So it all depends on how often u come back to it

Ascending a character is increasing that character’s max level and you can do this by getting some certain items for each character, go into the level up menu and there’s an option to ascend click on it and it will tell you what you need

You CAN explore the mountain. If just to get it on the map until you feel strong enough later. It's personally my favorite area of the game. But until you make your characters lv 40. It might not be SUPER comfortable to explore. I still think you can do it. And I recommend exploring it just to get it on your map. The more teleport spots the better.

You can now level your characters up to 40. Ascend them first with the required materials though.

Zhongli feel so poweful to play honestly. I can't help but yell his line ''I will have order'' every single time I use his elemental burst. He is a great shielder for my Xiao team. I can't wait for you to meet Zhongli in the story! And yep, his voice is to die for. I keep listening to his voice since 1.1 update when I got him and it never gets old :DD I have Tighnari. In english voice-over, he is like a parent that will scold you but cares for you, but also has a very sassy side to him, which I love a lot. His playstyle could be compared to Ganyu (5-star Cryo Archer). His charge shots are so slow because he gets 3 very fast charge shots after using his skill, which has a pretty short cooldown. If I remember correctly, it takes 2.7 seconds for his charge shot, which is the slowest in the game, but after using his skill, the charge time is reduces by like 2.4 (?) seconds I think. With constellations though, it becomes faster but I don't spend money in this game. He's really fun for me because as Dendro character, he needs kinda different teams than those people are so used to using. Dendro as a whole is a new thing to everyone and we will need to learn how to play around this element more.

While I'm sure it would be nostalgic to watch your Dragonspine adventures, I would not recommend going there yet, with only one pyro character. But you totally can! It's fun and the music is gorgeous. As for Liyue, if you go to the quest log and click navigate, it will tell you on the map where to go :)

just a small fyi: anemo, dendro and geo don't react with each other. so your team isn't doing much reactions. u can switch up some units and experiment with some reactions. they are fun and are the big source of damage.

Ascend dont need additional copy of character. You simply need adventure rank requiered and materials needed. they are listed on characters ascention profile (where you level them up) My advice is to not go to Dragonspine for now, enemies there are much stronger and the cold have no mercy. Once you become fluent with game mechanics you will have much better time exploring this area. As for trip to Liuye its up to you. You can go and explore the world, uncover the map and find treasures BUT at some point you will have to come back to finish Monstad storyline or you will get stuck in the story.

ascending does not mean duplicate character you just need them to get pass lvl 20 because it blocks you after you lvl them up to 20 you need to get materials from the open world to ascend them. also duplicate character turns in to constellations and all characters only have 6 constellations. also the island in the sky that you see in 48:28 is celestia home of celestial beings/gods

Might wanna avoid the icy mountain region for now. It's quite challenging and you'll have to constantly look for heat source while exploring. Since you're aiming for Zhongli, try doing quests available in your list which offers a lot of primogems and adventure rank exp. Just suggesting

When processing ingredients, it doesn't matter which cooking pot you do it in, when it's done, you can retrieve it from any cooking pot in the whole world

As a player who always put a shield character in a team, I suggest that you use shields more often. Not only it protects you but it also prevents interruption, which comes from being hit by attacks. My advice is to use your shield first before anything else during combat. With that you can easily do your attack combos or elemental reactions without any interruptions most of the time. Note: Even with your shield you can still be affected by the elements. Although you take no damage from it, some elemental reactions can disrupt you (watch out for freeze reaction). Depending on what type of element your shield is it will absorbed more damage against the same element, except for Geo shields. They absorb every damage a lot. And that's why I think they're the best type of shield in the game. Currently you have Noelle as your shield unit. Depending on the situation you can use her shield to tank or heal for your team, which what makes her a versatile character. With a proper build she can also deal lots of damage (C6, triple crowned, Husk of Opulent Dreams, Redhorn Stonethresher). By that time it's more reasonable for her to be a DPS character rather than a support. Among all the 4-star characters Noelle's shield is the strongest. But the one who has the best shield of all is none other than the CEO of GEO himself, Mr. Zhongli. So I wish you the best of luck! You might get the streamer's luck if you try to pull for him while streaming, who knows.

Ascension doesn’t mean duplicates of each characters you keep getting those mixed up. When you ascend a character that just means that they unlock skills and can get higher levels and the ascension are blocked by your adventure rank. Right now at AR 15 you can already ascend your characters. Duplicates are constellations but you can ignore those completely at the moment specially if you’re free to play
