Disgruntled Critics & Fans In A Nutshell

Once upon a time, there was a man named Gene Deitch. He created 13 bizarre "Tom and Jerry" cartoons from 1961 and 1962 respectively, having been given the hard task of picking up where MGM left off. These cartoons were mostly disliked upon arrival, so much so that Gene once received a hateful letter. The letter was from a disgruntled fan, telling him he DESERVED TO DIE for his work. Fortunately, Gene's animation career didn't end after those surreal outings, for he made children's picture book adaptations until his retirement in 2008. Moral: Keep doing what you enjoy doing. Your contribution means more to people than your unrepentant detractors.

This is the realest thing ever. it sucks that some people take it way too far by attacking creators personally for disliking their work

How would Rita ruin the person writing the letter's life
