It was great to see & meet you at the show!
  • Nathan builds robots is the definitive source for 3D printing news and information

Talked with the developer of the HT90, some takeaways -the cooling fan has a valve that allows cooling flow onto the part and takes .5 seconds to switch, so you can get much more specific about cooling and not cooling specific areas of a layer -prints peek beautifully. They had a 400mm high fin that i saw no wobble at the tip of -the machine wasnt moving the table at alll, incredibly stable. And yeah soo so silent -two different hotend assemblies that are attached by magnets and have a single plug at the top, one for high speed printing and the other for high temp printing -direct drive extruder and it can handle tpu
  • Oh, new clones everywhere. Oh sorry I mean new Printers. The HT90 has some Amazing specs. 500c nozzle and 160c bed. Active chamber cooling for PLA. Just everything you EVER need.
  • @sabahoudini
The 90 in the prusa stands for the chamber temperature and it's a game changer. That thing is not a toy, it's a proper industrial tool.
  • @S.A.S.H.
$2k for the Prusa is a lot of money. And priced for organizations that can claim it as a business expense. I really appreciate your more professional take on these new products. Getting technical analysis and wow-factor both in one video is really satisfying, and frankly its why I like your videos.

100% Creality CFS is not active drying. It’s desiccant’s there is a space below where the rolls sit for packs.
  • @jimmassey140
If you want to dig into the K2 a bit: 1. Is the model there a production or pre-production model? 2. What cost cutting compromises can you see (aside from the lead screw count reduction)? Do you think any might compromise print quality? 3. Extruder and hot end: It's supposed to be an "Apus" extruder but doesn't look like the one from Phaetus. Volumetric flow rates have been mentioned to be 40mm^3/s+. BS scale from 1 to 10 given the hot end they are using? (is it just a slightly longer unicorn?) 4. How is the camera and lighting? Resolution and frame rate for streaming? 5. Any chance at demonstrating the closed loop motors (maybe unplanned disruption)?
  • The anycubic multi-filament system is also a heated filament dryer, similar to the creality one. The machine itself might not be quite up to A1 standard, but for the price and with some improvements in the multi-filament system, it's a cool little combo.
  • @gitss7367
Not a Prusa fan but that Print quality on Delta is night and day from the big Prusa last year. That looks seriously impressive.
  • @lcsiew8875
any idea on the build volume of the Elegoo machine?
  • @riba2233
If you can review these new fiberon filaments it would be cool :)
  • @RoofusKit
It has been mentioned the filament system is not heated. The temp and humidity are informational only. I wouldn't even say Prusa pioneered the 4 bowden tubes to the hot end. Their work was based on the rest of the community.
  • @billverine765
Thanks for all the info man. I would love to go to one of these events, but I detest flying so thanks for being my surrogate. Would have been a hoot if the trash can blew apart, long as none of them got hurt of course. :)
  • @blotoshow1066
The K2 seems like a nice improvement, almost giving me buyers remorse for the k1c even though I haven’t bought it yet 😅
  • About a year ago I emailed Elegoo just on a whim asking if they had any plans for a multicolor printer. They said essentially that they were working on it, so judging by the poop shoot and little cutter button that I saw on the Centauri in this video, this is probably it. I’m guessing since they didn’t show it off, they’re probably still working on the actual MMU attachment, and if I had to guess they’ll launch the printer first and then the MMU later as an upgrade you can buy and add on.
  • @3dpathfinder
The K2 AMS isnt a dryer sadly . Does have a chamber heater.
  • @godz1379
what size bed was the elegoo? looks like bambu size. 300x300 or 350x350 would have been nice
