as a microbiologist, that actor and writer nailed it! impressive voice acting!

You've outdone yourself once again. The spooky background music, the uncertainty in this man's voice, the ending, I could go on..Keep it up.
  • The way the autopsy guy acts completely professional, but you can tell he's steadily getting concerned over the course of report, eventually admitting he's not sure what this means. You can tell how unnerved he really is with that final question on the origins of the body. Beautiful acting, and the actual corpse looking terrifying.
  • The “may I ask, where this subject came from?” is delivered so well, it gives me chills every time.

INCREDIBLE job my guy, so immersive! I keep wondering how a 16 year old dude makes these... shows that age is just a number when it comes to talent, passion and hard work.

The “Mr. Beck, May I ask where this subject came from?” sent a serious chill down my spine. Kane, you are a genius for making this stuff. Keep up the amazing work!

the strain in his voice when he's examining the body, and how stressed he sounds when over viewing, amazing.... I'd love to see more of your content
  • that autopsy's way more terrifying than people make it out to be. he didn't get eaten by mold he starved to death but something in the backrooms kept his body from fully decaying. That makes it seem like he was on the brink of death for years as the bacteria proliferated in his body

Gad, that corpse looks truly unsettling. Feels like it might reanimate any second with how that eye is gazing right at the camera... Well done with however you put that together. This whole series is making this old Internet Story a lot more believable... and "real". Mysterious tests, a strange strain of bacteria, and these broken videos... I'm really intrigued where you go with this, and it's all so well made!

The fact that you're putting these out so fast and maintaining the quality is nothing short of phenomenal.

the scariest part of the backrooms isn't being alone, it's knowing you're not

As a former Biologist really loved this episode in the series. I appreciate the factual accuracy as far as fiction can allow to be on the verge of that unknown grey area plus the professional way the guy reported his findings trying hard to not show his uncertainty 👏🏻👏🏻
  • How the corpse was 'sitting' there when they found it, and now the mutation... everything has a bit of "Annihilation" vibes...
  • The doctor sounding so uncertain of what he's analysed is amazing. Especially that last line of asking where the subject came from. If the Backrooms is messing with DNA somehow, it could explain where the creature in the first Found Footage video came from, maybe someone who got heavily mutated? I don't know, just spitballing but I'm really loving Kane's interpretation of the Backrooms.

YO! the last scene here connects to the last one in Damage control! You can hear the phone in the background! nice to see kane planning 11months ahead XD
  • I feel like a lot of attention is being given to the visuals and the slow burn narrative (which are legit worth the hype), but I want to give some love to the sound design of these videos as well. There's so much texture in the sound design, and I think these videos owe a lot of their mood to the care that was put into it.
  • WOW. so now not only is this series visually stunning and professional, but the WRITING is also believable and realistic??? this character's script conveys all the information we need to set up more mystery without sounding amateurish or like technobabble. I'm fascinated by the theme of mold in the backrooms. if something can infest liminal space, it must be some seriously bad news. but the fact that it seems to be like just common bacteria probably means it shares some qualities with the backrooms, that it seems benign and recognizable yet uncanny and dangerous. this is becoming a really fascinating mystery and more than just "man gets lost in scary hallway dimension." also the acting so far has been superb! the instructional voiceover sounded so legit lmao and this actor sounds genuinely perplexed and is clearly putting in the effort.

2:28 Obsessed with this part right here. The sun in this context appears to be either rising or setting. If it rises, it can symbolize how the Backrooms' spread is only getting started, despite the team's efforts in ending the project. "This environment was never [...] suited for mankind." However, if we see it as a sunset, it could mean death, as in "everyone who wanders into the backrooms dies there", or as in "the person this corpse belongs to died in the backrooms". It's disturbing because both possibilities are true, and they could be either warning about the danger (if the video was created by someone who wants to end the backrooms project), or "celebrating" it (if it was created by some kind of hivemind or even the monster itself, since it does show some degree of intelligence and mimicry, hence the uncanny editing that Almost makes sense). Even the music sounds marvelous and ominous at the same time. This series is the definition of uncanny valley.
