one of my hopes for the Freys throughout the show would be for Condal and crew to play into the casual audience’s hatred(?) of the Freys because of the original show and make them seem untrustworthy or deceitful, only to reveal that they’re some of the most stalwart supporters of Rhaenyra throughout the war
  • I think we are going to really like Hugh Hammer. I think the maester did him dirty, but it will be epic when he claims Vermithor.

I like your channel but this is stretching to the max. Sara snow is not important enough for them to merge her with black aly. I get you like Sara snow (for some reason) but she’s not happening. ATP you need to let it go.

Personally, I would be really disappointed with this merge, if true, because Black Aly is one of my favorite characters from this part of the story. We know she definitively exists, whereas with Sara Snow we don't know if she actually existed or not. To merge the two seems nonsensical; or to merge them and give the story of the one who definitively exists to the one whose existence is questionable is even more nonsensical. I think Black Aly is more important to the story than Sara Snow is, and I'd be fine if we didn't have her (Sara).

The Twins are not located at the Kings Road. Robb crossed the twins bridge only for a detour that brought him to Riverrun faster while Roose Bolton continued down the kingsroad to face Tywin. The bridge is not needed if you want to go south/north. Only if you cannot take the Kings road for some reason The only castle every army/person has to pass from their way North to South is Moat Cailin. So the Twins are not that much of a chokehold. Considering that in the Riverlands noone except the Brackens side with Aegon, no house/army is blocking the kingsroad making the passing of the Twins superfluous
  • I hope not... I think the romance of Cregan and Aly Black in the end of the Dance is important, much more important than Sara and Jace. Is a "happy ending" in the middle of a lot of tragic endings, if they cut them... there will be just misery, nothing to warm our hearts (except for Vicerys return)

I'm hoping we don't get Sara Snow, at least not how it's in the book. I like Jace and Baela together, and having him marry Sara just makes it way too close a parallel to Robb and Jeyne. It also doesn't really amount to anything anyway.
  • The dragon demands would you mind providing a source that states that all dragons favorite food are sheep? Why do you keep saying that? That’s only true for one dragon in Fire and Blood!!
  • @ikki6792
My two cents on the Wake the Dragon leak; Rhaena definitely finds 'Sheepstealer' but rather than claim her for herself, she attempts to have them captured in hopes of increasing the Blacks' odds in the war.

Your definitely off. Sara Snow won’t be in the show, because she never existed and also, they don’t have time. For the same reason why we don’t see Jace having relations with Jeyne Arryn, because it’s written to be ridiculous. They’re building up Baela and Jace and it’s just a simple coming of age romance with them bonding over grief (that ends in tragedy). That’s what both Bethany and Harry have said in every interview.
  • @jadenpitt7893
Jace does during the gullet tho which isn’t too far off so how much time can they spend building that up of that’s even an idea

Rhaena finds a wild dragon in the MORNING… hmm I wonder what she’ll name it. In all seriousness I’m very interested in her this season. Seeing the dragon eggs under Helaenas children’s beds confirms Shrykos and Morghul won’t be appearing. So perhaps they’ll replace them in the dragon pit (scene) by chaining up Syrax and Morning with Dreamfyre and Tyraxes.
  • they will not even have Daeron this season and you think they will have Sara Snow? come on man
  • Not a lot to say other than making a cheese and herb pie for dinner and have a bottle of Black Dragon Meadery “Dragon’s Blood” mead ready to go for tonight. 🐉
  • I hope not. Black Aly is a great character and Sara Snow is just not. Give me more Jace and Baela and Black Aly/Sabitha Frey

Game of Thrones being a mess from day one, the Bloodmoon fiasco, possibly combining Sara and Aly or Rheana and Nettles, whitewashing Baelor Breakspear... maybe this series really is unadaptable or just unadaptable by HBO. Maybe another channel would have done a better job.

What I appreciate about Ryan Condal as the showrunner of the show is that he doesn't make changes to the story just for the sake of it. He carefully considers every deviation from the book, and I strongly believe these decisions will prove beneficial in the long run. Additionally, we should wait and see how the season unfolds. With only one episode aired, it's too early to start criticizing the show, as many comments, especially from book readers, seem to do. We need to relax and trust that Ryan is the right person for the job. George R.R. Martin has faith in him, and Ryan always consults George before making major changes.
