Did I miss anything? Or maybe you want me to go more in depth on a topic in the video? if so, let me know down below 😀
  • Ballyhoo used to occasionally give 5 AC after watching ads. This was removed because there was an exploit to guarantee AC drop by manipulating packets. I think ballyhoo still says it is possible to win AC from her ads. Dark wolf (pet) used to be the only free-player pet for quite a long time. There was no 2nd banwave because AE doesn't want to lose paying customers - there are big money spenders among botters.

Buried deep down in the depths of the ocean is the rumor spread around by players over a decade ago that having a Necromancer in your group will lower droprates for items, which lead to people leaving or telling you to change class.

People always use the wrong nsfw work for why Milt was let go. He was making nsfw animations that looked just like the ads they had for the game back then. You used to be able to find them online pretty easily but they must have been scrubbed. That Twilly stuff was made like a decade later. Still very cursed all around.
  • bro ngl, I never had a "thing" towards gravelyn since i was 11, i just see her as an Antagonist, but when i played the saga and somehow they put THAT attire on her, i know my life will be twisted, from normal red hair women towards mentally unstable femdom

Im soooo glad someone else thinks Alina is pretending to be Beleen. Beleens account is wandering into the void meaning she hasn't played on it for years.

Really fun video! I remember playing AQ and Dragon Fable a ton as a kid, but unfortunately never made it to AQ Worlds for some reason. This still brought back some good memories none the less.

Milton was 100% not fired for his NSFW content (although it may have been a small nudging factor). He already did NSFW stuff before joining AE. Specifically, he was laid off along with others when AE was financially suffering. This was fine because he wanted out anyway. As a gift to Milton, Artix signed some papers so he could regain full ownership of the Miltonius character. That's why Miltonius was replaced with Nulgath. The server rewrite was 100% real. I know because I played on it. It featured regenerating health (on monsters too!), level 255 PvP enemies actually gave level 255 XP/CP/gold, for a full weekend EVERYTHING was 100% drop rates, for about a week you could swap classes and rank 4 passive buffs stayed forever allowing you to slowly stack infinite power, and lastly the performance (bank loading etc.) was vastly improved. Some of the code may have made it into the current client, but the project was abandoned due to the death of flash. Probably. The wheel of doom was removed because it's blatant underage gambling. Players such as myself were given warnings for discussing gambling on the forums, when we were in fact criticizing AE for introducing it to their games. They brought it back because money is more important than morals, especially when it comes to selling unnecessary cosmetics to pay for server costs (which is fine, I guess). I don't recall the orbs ever being on the Wheel of Doom. They were removed a LONG time ago. If you google "AQW The Miltonius Mess" you can read about what happened. NSFW "Twilly" is neither Twilly nor a Moglin, though she is clearly inspired by Twilly. Still kind of crazy for a dev to animate that! Like, why? What compelled him? AC items are not really more expensive? Back in the day 1000 AC's would get you a Grim Cloak. What's wrong with the name "Sand Monkey"? What am I missing?

I would have never thought AQW had an Iceberg Great to see you're pretty motivated to doing these videos, might share them again on the subreddit :P
  • @enochtang6646
ironic how inflation exists in AQW even when trading is non-existent in-game
  • @Tsz_AE
great video lmao should've thrown in a few more random bits about some of the events that happened, the evil war, quibbles shops, The Guardian Tower, Sneevils obsession with boxes, Etc.

Not sure if this still exist but there was a bug where quest items won't get removed from your temporary inventory when turning-in the quest. I had this when I was farming for reputation for necromancer back in the day where it was the most popular class cause of it having a pet skelly. The button on the shop for Dragonslayer class in /lair can be accessed even before unlocking the shop. The shop button was just actually behind the lock button and a pixel of it can be clicked just right above the lock button. Rare locations was removed. RIP /tilt. There were bug sometimes where when logging in and spawning in battleon doesn't have player limit. So you'll just see floating souls cause of lag. You can infinitely stack any item before using an exploit. Not sure if this is the exact step but the item needs to be in the bank, then farm for the item, when it drops, you cant/dont claim it (let the drop item button stay) and just keep farming. Then when ready to claim, transfer the item from your bank to your inventory and then claim. The item will then ignore the item limit. Wholesome times when nulgath items (juggernaut items of nulgath) were the most famous items and considered endgame gear and so hard to farm, would take months to complete the single quest, but a lot of players that has drudgen the assistant pet or nulgath larvae pet would just afk on battleon or yulgar to help other players farm for the quest. Rustbucket (and the other variant of the class) was the only class before that could tank 1 hit kill monsters, i.e Nulgath, because of the 'Event Horizon' skill where it makes all the damage turn to 0 Having a pet before was actually considered as a sign that the player is a member, because the name of a member before was also white and pets are member only. Only 100k gold was the worth of the most expensive item before that you can buy ingame. Remember when the suggestion shop in yulgar was the hottest shop? But now.. Archfiend Doomlord of Nulgath was just an armorset in the Suggestion shop before then it went rare and became an armorset to be farmed as it is today. There was an exploit before with DoT potions where when use while the room is in spawn glitch, will make the DoT keeps getting higher in numbers as it ticks. It was highly used in hard to kill boss monsters with High HP, i.e Carnax. Classes before doesnt have rank 10 passive and each rank also doesnt give stats so players before just makes the class to only rank 5, which where you have access to all the skills. The 'Detective Suit' (currently a legend/member only armor) in Sleuthhound Inn became a non-legend/member for a day and all the players bought it. Cant even remember how it was discovered as it is in a somehow secret place and not a famous armor. Mage class was once the most op class in pvp. Ungodly reavers of Nulgath era

This is actually an interesting concept

Hey Elevonday! Nice video. One subject that hasn't been mentioned is Zazul's house and the purgatorio map.
  • @Ren-yq3xw
idk if this is just a dream or smth i heard in the passing but cant quite remember anymore but there was some stuff around the existence of the abyssal angel class and its creator, hence the og abyssal angel class is now rare and an alternative was created, but the only thing that changed was the name. everyth else worked the same. i genuinely cant confirm this so if anyone can then thanks!! really dont know if i dreamed this up or not
  • @99PercentEvil
I dont know if anyone mentioned it but when the level cap was 30 (or 35?) there was a enhancement glitch via bots that makes your weapon 100 level and most of the players were using it with healer class to solo bosses.
