F1 2020 vs F1 2019 | Direct Comparison

Hey folks, thanks for tuning in! Just a quick note before you comment. This video in particular focuses primarily on the visual changes that have been made, but the biggest changes to this game have been made to the available features and gameplay mechanics. I mention this at the end, but want to reiterate here in case you missed it. -New "My Team" mode to create your own F1 racing team from scratch and rise through the ranks -New 2-Player Splitscreen option (yes, even on PC) -Reworked handling mechanics -2 new tracks to race on (though they haven't added the most recent track currently being used by the league - can't remember the name of it) As a few have already noted below - the graphic quality may have been tweaked to improve performance on the console platforms. Still not quite sure why the PC version was affected - but the "downgrades" are not really noticeable in-game anyway

imagine how much CPU they could have saved erasing all of those people for an authentic 2020 experience.

The real question is : How did you get heavy rain conditions in Abu Dhabi ? :P

The trees and distant building textures were modified to optimise console performance. This is apparent when you see the frame rates these games push on the consoles. F1 2020 provides a solid 60 on both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, something which cannot be said for the previous version.

There are lots of minor improvements in F1 2020 but the easiest would still be re-painting 2019 Mercedes.

Me, one minute into this video: "Oh, this guy doesn't watch Formula 1." Mentioning "subtle changes". F1 cars don't just change every year, they change every race.

I'll come back next year when F1 2021 comes out. That will be a big difference.

Cash grabs of a game tbh, instead of making a yearly game they should make a single game which gets updated to current situations

Should've compared 2019 Mercedes with 2020 Racing Point, they're just swapped paint job 😂

1:06 these changes have nothing got to with the "improvement of the game etc" to warrant a comparison, its just the new wings, and parts that the real F1 cars are using due to car updates, reg changes etc.
