As a second baseman I appreciate that you think that it is underrated… I lead off because get on base the most even though I am the slowest on my team😂

I play catcher and my sisters would say why do you have dirt on your face after every game or practice so that stereotype was 1000% accurate

I’ve asked quite a few former big league catchers how their knees were feeling after catching for so many years and they have all had multiple knee replacements and surgeries. One of them Edd Ott (Rip) said he had 16 knee operations and 4 replacements. Mad respect for catchers!
