Oooh, I rlly liked it! Though they didn't really react to Toph and her fighting skills, it really shifted to the Avatar world itself. Though personally I'd think avatar'd come before kny, but bcs of the legend of Korra that wouldn't make sense. So what I'd think is Gyomei being a far descendent of the Beifong family Tophs family and bending has already died out. Yoriichi Tsugikuni found a way to use bending with a sword and so a new era was created and Avatar kind of repeats itself in the way of ppl making new breathing techniques etc etc. Muzan also found a way to use the bendings relying on blood bending. He studied it and made it his own, blood demon art. He also studied all other elements to gain such powers. We see Douma using ice for example. Why do I think this? Bcs of the technology used in both verses. Avatar the last airbender relied on their bendings to transport things and ppl (like how we see the Dai Li using Earth bending to move the stone train to Ba Sing Se), but we see in KNY that there are now trains and things such as lanterns etc etc. There would have to be a BIG age gap between the two verses since bending can't just die out in a few years, it would have to take maybe like a few hundred years or so. This is my theory on how this could work out! But this is all WITHOUT the legend of Korra. I haven't watched it since I became bored after a few episodes so I don't really know how far technology is in the series. If they already have phones and screens like tvs, then it wouldn't work out with the Taisho era.
