If all cars sounded like that while idling the world would be a better place

The 1969 fastback Mustangs retain their amazing good looks and still don't look dated or old. A masterpiece of styling by Shinoda and Ford.
  • '69 Mustang muust be one of the two most beautiful things to ever carry the blue oval. The other was the GT40.

A car doesn’t need to be obnoxiously low to be beautiful, this is a very good example.

I still remember as a young kid in the 70's wearing a t-shirt that read, ' this is Ford Country, on a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust '

Sure wish I had my '69 Mach 1 back. It was the prettiest and best car I've ever owned.

The real muscle car era, outdoing ANYTHING built today. I was only 14 when the Mach 1 first came to grace our planet. I was a Brit kid in the States in 1962 - 65 and our neighbour had a '64 Mustang! Even at that age I understood the finer qualities of the Ford Mustang. What a machine and a privilege to have had a ride in it! WOW!
  • My cousin had a '69 fastback with a 351. Burnt orange with white interior and aluminum slots. Beautiful car. Let me drive it around the parking lot and even do a couple doughnuts😊. I was maybe 13 at the time. Most awesome thing I had done!! Will never forget that feeling! Thanks Norman, you lit a fire that still burns to this day😊😊

  • I never knew my deceased father was a music major until his funeral..his brother spoke and said that he could tell if a hot rod was out of tune jus by the sound of the pipes from blocks away...I Miss you dad...R.I.P. LARRY SUTTERFIELD

Owned a '69 Mustang 351W automatic stock...couldn't kill it. Years later, bought a brand new '89 Foxbody Mustang LX 5.0L , 5 speed stick from the factory...miss both of them.
  • What a beautiful beast!!! That sound is music to my ears!!! Mustang...there is no car that compares!!!

It never gets old seeing a Mustang beat a Corvette no matter how many times I see it!

Those Americans make great cars. Even 50 years ago!

No other cars in the world receives respect like American muscle.
  • Mustang is my favorite pony-car!
  • Had one. Same exterior but black interior. It was my wife’s favorite from my collection of Mustangs. Watching this makes me want another one. Beautiful!

My first car, purchased in 1973 was a lime green metallic 1970 Mach 1 with the same deluxe white vinyl interior (“comfort weave”) as the red 1969 at the start of this video. Mine was a base 351 Windsor with probably 1/2 the HP of the ‘69. Still love those cars. Thanks for the video.
