Lillian Hanly has a 50/50 chance of inheriting Huntington’s, a neurodegenerative disease. With a number of her family testing positive for the gene, and her mother already affected by it, she must come to a decision: Get tested now or continue to live on, in the unknown.

  • Big thank you to Lillian and her family for sharing their personal story in relation to the challenges of deciding whether to get tested or not. I know the Huntington’s community will appreciate this realistic representation of the impacts of Huntington’s disease on a family
  • I'd want to know. Especially if I was having a family, so they didn't inherit this disease.
  • As long as not having children. It ok if you choose not too get tested .Otherwise be Cruel to pass on to a child in my opinion.
