I loved Michael Landon as 'Little Joe' and especially as 'Charles Ingles' on 'Little House on the Prairie'. I had my picture taken with him in the late 80's when I worked at TV station airing 'Highway to Heaven' during sweeps promotions. He came to visit Channel 11 and toured every department in the building. It was a joy to meet him and I still have the picture of me with him. I didn't know he was Jewish. God really blessed him!

I saw his last time he was on the Tonight Show. I gasped when I saw the look on Johnny Carson face as Michael walked across the stage to be seated. I had tears in my eyes and Johnny was fighting tears as he started the interview. All who saw Michael’s gaunt condition knew he was really saying good-bye to his fans that night. Although he tried to be up beat we knew that cancer had won. He was smiling and we, his fans were crying…and saying good-bye to a dear actor who had brought much joy into our lives.

So what was confirmed by the daughter? He was a womanizer we know this looking at all his marriages. Women loved him. I'm sure he made his peace with God before he passed. Losing him was a shock, I fully thought he would beat his cancer. I was a lucky one to have watched him in all 3 of the major shows he stared in, Bonanza,Little House and Highway to Heaven. My household all gathered to watch each of these shows when it was time for them to come on. Acting just came natural for him.
