I Bought a Minecraft Axolotl in Real Life

For anyone who’s concerned with the Axolotls. I wish I would’ve shown in the video, but yes I did do the research on them. And I regret not having someone who specializes with them speak in the video. We ended up NOT buying one, and I recommend for anyone else wanting one to not get one unless you’re ready for a 15 year long relationship. From what I read online prior to recording, was some family owned shops should be good to buy from. Which is why we went to the 2nd shop, i’m not sure why they have them in small cups. Which I don’t condone in the slightest. This video was simply made to show people how cute they are in real life, but I definitely didn’t talk enough on the fact that they are endangered. I also knew there wasn’t a blue axolotl, it was meant to be a “myth busted” when we wouldn’t find one, but ended up finding a little cyan baby and called it blue. I will try my best to do better on informing later in the future, I got too ahead of myself wanting to see them in person myself. ❤️

Mojang didn’t add axolotls because they’re cute, they added them to show awareness that they are endangered.

Anyways, disclaimer: do not buy axolotls without a lot of research. They are really hard to take care of and they are endangered in the wild. If you did proper research, DONT get one from the wild. Instead, go to a trustable fish store that sells these cuties. Thank you

Mojang added them to raise awareness that they are endangered Not just to become pets and be cute So any of you Minecraft YouTubers don't specifically call them Minecraft axolotls

I've had a pet axolotl for 7 years. I got him from a pet shop, second hand when he was about 10 years old. I am a minecraft player, and I have played the game for probably longer than I have had him. He is coming to the end of his life, and I am so incredibly happy that when he finally passes away, I will be able to remember him whenever I play this game. In my survival world, I have already created an aquarium just for my minecraft version of him, and have given him a name tag and everything. I'm so happy that minecraft has added this wonderful feature.

PLEASE don’t impulse but an Axolotl. They’re critically endangered (especially the blue ones, even irl) and you’re going to make them go extinct if everybody buys them, please pin this or like it if possible to inform more people.
