It's not that Stark is a Coward. It's that he's Afraid, and there's a complete difference. I believe that the definition of Cowardice may be that people are unable to act through fear, they allow it to overcome them to a point where even if they have a chance to succeed at what they're attempting, the possibility of failure or the fear of it overwhelms them. The Definition of Bravery, on the other hand is the ability to act, even in the face of fear of loss or failure, in my opinion.

Fern is with Frieren ever since she was like 7 or smth and now she is 16 so technically she spent half of her life with her, that's what that meant

Its a little thing but Frieren pats Stark on the back when she compliments him after the fight because that's how Eisen comforted/showed affection to her too. Same with her patting Fern on the head because its how Heiter comforted her.

3:00 fun fact, in the dub version of this scene after Fern wakes up, she said "that was fast" implying that the dream she just had was actually Heiter paying her a visit like he said he would. It was a nice line

You have to remember that frieren spent like 6 years with fern and heater training fern and deciphering the text. From 20 years after himmils death to 26 years. We then time skip 2 years later to now 28 years after himself death. That would be 8 years, and if fern is jist turning 16 now, she has spent half of her life with frieren at this point.

Something I noticed is that, while Fern saw Heiter, and her vision was of him trying to make her lower guard. Frierens vision of Himmel just said "shoot me" so she literally didn't have a single thought in her mind/memory of him trying to deceive her.

Who believed that Fern using her staff like a Broom? xD .. i Love the onepunchman-glare from stark in Episode 5, when he get the hug by the people. The voice acting from Eisen, when he say that his fear brought him so far is soooooooooo blatantly good, you can hear the fear in his voice. (fear brought me this far one of the best OST in Frieren) Fern could probably interest in Stark because.. The Animation from frieren siting near to stark is the smoothest i've ever witness. Madhouse is flexing the most subtle things and i love it.

I absolutely love the little hints you put in the beginning of what to expect from you further in the episodes. The "I got my tissues" part had me loudly say "YES!" 😂

Frieren could probably handle the dragon pretty easily, but considered it a great learning experience for her apprentice and later Stark.

"Almost as if the dragon is scared of him" Nailed it. Good call. Great reaction. Fun fact: Stark means "strong" in German.
