I remember Howie from his talk show "The Howie Mandel" show from waaayy back, like 20 yrs ago. Cool story: Me and my sis grew up playing softball and we used to do a lot of fundraising activities. On one occasion, we went to a taping of the Howie show in Burbank, CA to be a part of his studio audience. For those who don't know, studios pay money to large groups to be a part of their studio audience. Our softball team made like $900.00 that day. Dru Hill, a popular R&B group from the 90's, was the musical guest that day. The production manager choose me and my sis to come on stage after their performance to give them hugs and props. We did and we were so excited. Dru Hill was the IT group at the time and like most teenagers, me and my sis were in a frenzy over them. But to actually meet them, we almost fainted. Needless to say it was a blast. We were still in High School and we excitedly told everybody that we got to meet Dru Hill and that we were going to be on TV. Everybody at school tuned in when it aired and was like OMG you guys were on TV with Dru Hill!!! What a blast. Thanks Howie.
