We NEED a Wheezy interview next, heās so mysterious, we never even heard him talk before, his beats are so hard and we never hear him speak on producing, the biggest mystery in production
-
metro the best producer of our generationā¼ļø
-
To add to Quincy being 50 when he made Thriller, people tend to also forget that he was producing for Frank Sinatra before Michael
-
I love how he admits to still watching tutorials. Most producers deny it

Metro, If you like the workflow of the new FL studio, but you want it to sound like the old FL studio, what you have to do is go to the limiter and increase the gain by 5.5db. On the old versions of FL, the gain on the limiter was increased by default which gave it a harder hitting sound. Once you make this change to the templates, of the modern FL versions, it will sound the exact same. You can prove that it sounds the same, as when you export the same project from FL 20-21 and FL11-10 and then phase invert one of the exports, they will cancel out. This is assuming the gain on the limiter has been changed to be the same on both projects. Hope this was helpful, and yes older versions of FL sound different, but you can emulate that sound on newer versions with 100% accuracy.

Thank you Metro & ProducerGrind for doing this for the community, so many GEMS & Light in here man! Also whoever said these are pointless was clearly not a producer themselves or some jealous person, ignore that. We LOVE this & it's doing so much for the community as a whole. 100
