Just saw this race for the first time recently. Saw this young woman finish second as the women’s record was broken. Watched this today, and so pleased to see Ali win. Outstanding!

These women are awesome! I doubt anyone knows just how difficult it is to race in the mountains, let alone something this difficult. I know, as mountain running (racing) is where I thrived, back in the 70's and 80's. It allowed me to compete with men. This type of competition is more mind over body, than speed. Way to go ladies!

Love all the coverage because I race it too but you know, not Every one does this trying to win. A lot of us have personal reasons for doing it and you never hear about that. All you hear about is the ones who really compete.

I was gonna do a 42 hour challenge and part of that being race day, but since I had soda that has lots of sugar and being sensitive to caffeine, crashed hard af twords 10 am and couldn't g anymore so went to bed and missed the event
