  • I was expecting to see Portal levels imported to Mario Odyssey but that's amazing!
  • It’s surprising how many things in Portal 2 have hit detection that you’d never really touch in a normal play through.
  • Fun Fact: In Mario Odyssey, you should actually be able to do a corner wall jump with ease, but Nintendo hard-coded it so you can't. If you try, you can reach the other wall with enough height using a spin, but Mario simply won't cling to the wall until you're below the height you jumped from the other wall, meaning Nintendo actively didn't want you to do that.

  • I recommend to anyone who tries this mod to bind "r_drawclipbrushes" to their keyboard, as this mod doesn't seem to remove any invisible walls and it's frustrating to manuver around them without it.

    I have a idea. What if the portals worked like the gels? When you enter the orange portal, it FLINGS you very far away! And when you enter the blue portal, you get a INSANE airtime!

  • The Mario Odyssey paintings could be a really cool addition for a potential update to this mod, if you'd like to do that

    Portal 2 but you have limited portals. You start with 4 portals once you pick up the blue portal gun, so the automatically fired portals don't count (each fire of a new portal acts as one portal shot, so a pair of orange and blue portals cost 2 portal uses) and can collect more portals, by finding them in either obvious or secure places in the map, saving them if you have extra when the level finishes. You could find these similar to the moons in this video, either very hidden or out in the open, depending if they are necessary to complete the game, so the minimum amount of portals required in portal 2 in least portals, and extra portals found purely to make the game easier for more inexperienced players to beat the game without learning speedrun tricks. I thought this was an interesting concept since it's like least portals at some points and a normal playthrough at others. It would be more fun for casual players or people who don't know how to do least portals, becasue it adds an extra element, making sure that you don't mess up a portal, searching for more portals, and then also planning ahead to make sure you have enough portals for the level.
