Ok babes 🥰 so either before or after watching I gotta know what you think… is a good thrift trip all up to the thrift store of the thrifter? 👀
  • @raw8565
I think it’s the thrifter in general! It’s an actual talent to see potential in used and old clothes lol so I just think you’re the best at what u do!
  • @lexpereezz
The Tommy Hilfiger overalls were definitely a thrifty treasure find, they’re so cute! 🤩
  • @ladylin3026
I always say this! People swear certain thrift stores are trash... but it's not the store usually.... it's the thrifter! And typically it's something that can't be taught. Some people just have the "eye"/ natural ability and fashion sense to find and grab the gems. I always love your content! And I'm so impressed that you keep us entertained with the thrift content while being a mom and wife, which is a full time job. Much love beautiful!!!

If you soak stained clothes in hot water and OxiClean overnight, the stains will usually completely disappear. I do this all the time with thrifted clothes. I only thrift all-natural materials (like cotton and linen), so I have not tried this method on polyester clothes, but I can fully attest that OxiClean soak literally works wonders on the natural materials. I never leave stained stuff behind at the store because I can always save it.

While the thrifter itself is definitely important, I do feel like the Red White and Blue in my area is by FAR the best thrift store for some reason. They always have it organized and have the best items for great prices. I never leave there empty handed and never find anything at the salvation army right next to it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I absolutely love you and your thrifting inspiration, thank you for what you do🩷 thrifty treasures!!
  • @Clare_xo
Even with bad rated thrift stores you managed to find some great stuff, i love your videos! thrifty treasures!
  • We live rurally in an area with a largely poor population. There are not enough items donated locally to stock the much utilized thrift stores so they bring in truckloads of stuff from the city. The items are priced locally and often the people pricing don’t recognize a high end brand. It makes for a lot of stunning finds and a great wardrobe
  • Oh man that denim jacket with the fringe is so good!! 😍 could not have left that behind 😮
  • Those Tommy overalls are such a gem and my ultimate thrift goal because back in 1998 I met my husband and he was wearing those Tommy overalls!!! So nostalgic 🥹💞
  • As someone whos thrift shopped since I was able to walk and reach the racks with my mom, I definitely think it does have to do with the stock and sizing as well. I only have 2 thrift shops in my area (even then, they are pretty far) one barely has clothes and the other is a salvation army that is extremely hit or miss and has gone down hill in the past few years. There's no size organization. The men's section never even has enough to completely fill a rack anymore. Its takes an open mind and good eye but if it's not a well stocked store it definitely also depends on whatever stock they put out and if you are lucky enough to find in your size. Plus size thrifting is a whole different struggle. I just recently got the best haul I've gotten in a year from that thrift shop, after trips of flops. And I'm so excited! I love the hunt and not knowing what you'll find.

It’s definitely the thrifter! You’re so fashionable and you’re always prepared and know what types of things you’re looking for so I think that’s very helpful. I love watching you shop lol
  • @tacedoherty1889
It’s definitely the thrifter, I have found some gems over the years and I am a fashion designer so I can alter or remake anything that doesn’t fit me, it’s truly a blessing because I never have to miss out on anything because it isn’t my size 💫
  • @linekteich6647
i love the way she gets everything in the great length and not to short for a grown up women. THAT DESERVES A RESPECT💞
  • @11afifa11
Love your thrifting videos, always look forward to them💕
  • @cupcake101
Those Tommy Hilfiger overalls and the leopard print top are just *chef's kiss*, I love them!!! 😍 And to answer your question: I think it's the thrifter because you're right, when it comes to thrifting, you have to have an open mind otherwise you'll just get overwhelmed. I go thrifting at my nearest Salvation Army a few times a week and I tend to get lucky but it all depends on my mood. Sometimes I come out with nothing and that's ok!
  • @melodyintime
Sometimes the musty smells, or the spray they spray periodically can bother you. Great finds! Thrift prices are higher now, but if people don't buy, eventually they will lower the price. This is a test.
  • @jmags3812
I think it’s the thrifter for sure. I used to buy so much when I didn’t have my style honed in, now that I know my style, the fabrics I like, what cuts fit nicely now I buy less but they are more special pieces. I always find something even if I only walk out of the store with 1 piece for me but 1 thing for my husband 2 things for my kitchen 1-2 things for my kids. They are quality trips now as opposed to back then when I was playing dress up.
  • @kaely7152
this feels like an early birthday gift for my birthday tomorrow!!🤗 also thank you haley for showing us how to dress modestly but still cute. it can be a little difficult sometimes!💟thrifty treasures

You should totally do a video where you go thrifting with a subscriber and teach them your tricks as you go and rate their findings.
