A dying old man with nothing left to lose vs a dying young man with everything to lose.

My quote for this: HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TEACH YOU THIS LESSON OLD MAN?!
  • @maxxam012
“That dull, ordinary boy. So unlike any Keyblade Wielder I’ve ever seen. Housing three separate hearts - including his own Nobody and a Replica - within his own, until such a time that he would return them to their own bodies. No formal training, with a Keyblade passed down by necessity rather than a Master’s intent. Flanked by no more than a castle guard and a court magician. And yet he is the one to face me in the skies above Scala Ad Caelum, under the Light of Kingdom Hearts itself. Only this spectacular, extraordinary boy could wield the X-Blade to its fullest potential.”

That chair phase... 10/10 would die again.
  • @gamehead1223
When you realized the final battle was a fight of ideals for how the world should be and not what it is.

“That dull, ordinary boy has managed to derail my plans over and over” And here he stands at the end, the only one capable of taking you down.

Xehanort: "Enlighten me!" Steals Sora's light Me: Wait, that's illegal.
  • @scrumptious6607
High key wished that Xehanort would be the one to deem Sora a key blade master at the end

I love how they took the very first boss theme in the franchise and gave it an ultimate version for the final boss of the saga.

Yo the part where he knocks Sora out and you think you actually died & have to start all over😭😭😭 I was about to cry, before I realized it was part of the game. ALSO when his heart beats and you hear Donald and Goofy calling out from the audio in the controller (for PS4 users) scared the shit out of me lol it was fucking sick though, I’ll never forget how my heart stopped during that whole bit

Kairi's Letter: "There are many worlds, but they share the same sky —: one sky, one destiny." Believes that everyone shares common beliefs and good within them. There's light within everyone. Xehanort in the Final Battle: "There is but one sky! One destiny!" Believes his belief and ideal of greater good supersedes anyone else. Darkness dwells in everyone's hearts.

The most beautiful thing about this fight for me was the fact that Sora wasn't fighting Xehanort alone. Donald and Goofy stood beside him and fought together with Sora, just as they did in Kingdom Hearts 1. They weren't standing by the sidelines like in KH2 but truly helped Sora save the world and for that decision to have them alongside Sora instead of Riku I applaud Square Enix.

You’re gonna get shown the door, old man.
  • @corjonbett
THIS intro made me smile. YES, there was only ONE appropriate start to Xehanort's theme! "WHAT?!"
  • @shadowelza1923
And now this song hits completely different. Jesus… Sora fought against us
  • @ELEGR0
A boss fight happening in Scala ad Cealum, the place you were reborn, build on top of Daybreak Town, where you found your end. This is your theme now.
  • This whole theme really screams "Kingdom Hearts". I remember nearly crying while playing this boss fight. Ansem, Terra-Xehanort, Xemnas, Young Xehanort, it all leads to this. This is it. This is where it all truly ends. 17 years of my favorite video game franchise has finally come to an end.

The blend of the Final Boss themes from both Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2 is so well done and cathartic. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
  • @arctris9380
The official theme of "HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON OLD MAN!"
