In this video, I compared details, graphics and guns sound, reload animation & gameplay features between the Battlefield 5 and call of duty modern warfare 2. These details do not make one game better than the other.

The 48 stars on the flag in bf5 makes sence. There were 48 stars on the us flag during ww2.
  • I think that the main goal of BF5 was to make the soldier as humanly as possible, so it would have a bigger impact, and you can actually feel it. The soldier yelling when he is bayonet charging or when he is freaking out when he is near a grenade gives a little touch of the soldier's situation. The fear yet the brutality they have really shows us a little about how the soldiers felt.

Crazy how BFV is so much more detailed than the last BF…
  • If Dice maintened the things that made Bf1 and BfV great, we would have the perfect Battlefield game

The lack of suspension in bf5 makes sense, vehicles way back when didn’t have much in the way of suspension

You can actually hear them breathing when sprinting in Mw2, it’s really noticeable in somewhere like a tunnel and you need to run for a little longer than what was shown in the video.

2:20 i think you need to have an ally for this, i usually hear "shit! grenade" or shouting there's a flashbang when you're near it

man i wish battlefield was still good as it was before, kind of a bummer bf2042 made everything go down hill im not saying 2042 is a bad game, but its still sad seeing all of the older developers leaving, and then the classic BF originality dying.

It's amazing how detailed these games are
  • @Windows-bf1ds
Battlefields goal was to make an fps game that utilizes things players do in the game and make it a price of the map

The fact that battlefield 5 is almost 5 years old and it still holds up against new games is kinda impressive

Will forever love the ragdoll animation when a V2 rocket hits, and you go tumbling around, all in first person
  • Because Battlefield 5 is set during WWII, the US flag only has 48 stars in that game (and Battlefield 1. It too has 48 stars.) But if we take a look at something like Battlefield 4, the US flag there has 50 stars. So yes, EA took the attention to detail in BFV, BF1 and BF4 to new heights in 2013, 2016 and 2018, respectively.

For panicking topic, in MW2 operators will say "oh shit!!" When an enemy player shoots at you but misses very close like a headshot from a sniper or multiple bullets zipping past you
  • i dont know about BF5, but in MW2022, when character run and walk down stair, they have realistic animation of walking instead of using normal run/walk animation (they slightly leaning back when walk down stair). Very noticable in Thrid person mode
  • 2:03 just a note but MW2 actually does have panic lines for tacticals and lethals, it just seemingly didn't play when you tested this

I know it’s a different game but I have to tell someone. I noticed the other day while playing battlefield 4 that I canceled a reload after putting the new magazine in to switch to my secondary instead and when I when to go and switch back, the reload picked up where I left off. All my character did was pull the charging handle. I love the attention to detail like that. It’s such a little thing but it’s the little things like that and the ones In this video that really change the feel of a game

The Operators in MW2 don't freak out because of a grenade since they are trained professionals, while the soldiers in WW2 were enlisted civilians, so it makes sense they are more hysterical when explosives are near them. The CoD Operators know how to keep their cool but still call out if there is a grenade being thrown by the enemy, you didn't trigger the voiceline.
