This is the first time all year that authorities have placed the territory on the maximum typhoon alert on a T8 level.

    What is key to know is that their "homes" r nothing like what Americans know as homes. Most all of hk citizens live in huge hi-rise towers, some over 30 stories high! And trust me when I say that u can drive (more like taxi) from one end to the other and never not see a skyscraper, for miles! I couldn't help but wonder how it doesn't sink under the weight of all that concrete?
