Some clarifications: - Rotobaga has a costume I forgot to mention, with it, when fed plant food, she will now shoot a large number of large pink rutabagas that deal double damage. - At level 3, Ampthurium has a 16% chance to shoot the bigger projectile, not 18%.

To be honest, after reading the comments on these videos and finding out what happened to pvz2c after sky city, it is honestly a little sad for what happened to the plants after these two worlds just becoming "counter this".
  • As someone who has always been a fan of this game, and was always curious about how different the Chinese version of the game is from the international one, I want to say a big thank you! These videos are so interesting and entertaining to watch, simple explanations, relaxing background music. Keep up the good work!
  • "Cycloque says in frustration, as she swallows a mouthful of ice cream" Such a mood fr
  • I think all, except Ampthurium, have the ability to fly. Which is kind of the reason why they were made specifically for Sky City, but can also work in Big Wave Beach since you don't need Lily Pads.

The chinese version disappoints me often, but I think they did pretty a decent job with these guys.
  • I like how you can see that the Chinese version had a lot of effort put into it, but is still very much broken with plants that have a lot of glitches.
  • @SuperGBASP
I appreciate how you also show the real plant the plants here are based on, it's interesting to someone like me who loves random trivia. Also I noticed that Kirby Planet Robobot music, good taste
  • Tbh Sky City seems isolated compared to the other world's. Most plants and zombies can't appear in other worlds for pinata parties and modern day stuff

I adore Saucer Squashes design, it’s very nice and I feel like it is a very good plant! Edit: Why dont they just add sky city to normal PVZ2? it's AMAZING.
  • 4:56 Level 2 Cycloque gains “Fierce Wind” which I think either instantly one shots Level 1 zombies in Sky City or stuns them for longer outside of it. Most likely the first option. Level 3 she gains “Storm” which does the same thing but affects Level 2 zombies.

Best part about the Aspiragus (which I always called asparagunner) is that you can get it (and possibly the costume but I might be wrong about that) from star rewards you get for clearing enough levels. Every world besides Egypt has 2 versions of the same level which usually just contain higher level zombies and you get a star for normal and a star for the harder version. The game gives you up to level 3 of it and when spammed can be pretty good, in my opinion, for a non-premium plant It's especially helpful for a level in Ancient City where they strip away the top and bottom rows, similar to the tutorial in PvZ1 and PvZ2 international

Find it stupid that the tornado plant doesnt keep the zombies in the lane they're pulled in without the costume, as it could give it a lot more utility by forcing zombies in a lane for better multi-kill potential, as its base form seems redundant to use outside the world you get it.
  • @VeeHarmony
The plants in these versions are quite adorable actually :D
  • Ampthurium is a perfect example of everything right and wrong with Chinese version. Very interesting mechanics and cool plants, but bad execution ruined by some stupid coding mistakes

i love the "Overanalyzing EVERY Plant in" series, please keep making them!

If you have seen my comment from the previous video, i'm continuing with which mint family would I think these plants belong if they were in international: Cycloque: Contain-mint Ampthurium: Fila-mint Lantern Cherry: Contain-mint (tool plant) Saucer Squash: Contain-mint Board Beans: Appease-mint/Arma-mint Aspiragus: Appease-mint/Arma-mint Spinapple: Reinforce-mint
  • Cycloque when LVL up to: LVL 2:Wind produced by Cycloque can pull down level 1 zombies directly and Cycloque gains 50% more attack power and health (150% of initial) LVL 3:Makes Fierce Wind effective toward level 2 zombies and Cycloque gains another 50% more attack power and health (200% of initial)
