I love it when drumeo lets Chad out of their basement, it’s nice to let him get out for a bit
  • @Jayphillips1988
I love how he just doesn't care about playing it note for note perfectly. It is so much more enjoyable to just watch him flow.
  • @acsteiner1973
I don't know anything about playing drums but Chad's joy and enthusiasm in his playing is so clear, it is a blast to watch him every time.
  • @davidfortney7948
I love the quick shift from him being goofy in the intro to completely locked in from note 1
  • @joschaeltrop1954
I knew that he was a super cool drummer, but these live versions are crazy. Thank you for focusing on Chad’s drumming. You made my day!
  • @neoscylax
I love the way Chad doesn’t feel tied to the original recording and just plays whatever he wants. Bonzo was similar. Makes me feel free to play hard and loose too 👍🏻🥁

I love how this song seems like the tempo speeds up and slows down throughout … but it doesn’t, actually. The BPM is very steady. Chad’s drumming stylistic and rhythm choices give that variable-tempo illusion. It’s really cool, especially the work on the toms and the ride.
  • @ainmeile
I love that he jammed to his own recording and played whatever he felt like in the moment
  • @GistOfItMedia
I always heard drummers hate on this guy and say he can't drum but he's clearly an absolute hammer
  • @LydiaVacs
If there was ever someone BORN to do something- it was Chad and this song 😍
  • @oscararroyo8174
Please continue to let Chad out of your dungeons over at Drumeo every now and then, nice to see him back
  • @shadcovert1160
He fully, completely understood the assignment. I love that he fully knows the expectation, that fellow drummers are watching. Drummers drummer. This version should be on Spotify.
  • @ByOdinsBeard15
He's quickly becoming my favorite drummer. Such crazy technique mixed with great instincts, it's so awesome to watch.
  • @mogglie
Boy. What a drum mix. Drumeo is on top of their game. And chad is fantastic to watch. Loose and precise at the same time.
  • @racketclub8269
The quiet confidence of the stick twirl always gets me. That’s when you know you’re the boss
  • @NinjaExtreme14
The RHCP are my favorite band but as a guitarist I never really payed much attention to the drum parts. These videos with Chad playing just gives me such another level of appreciation for theirs songs!
  • This Man has so much energy and just such an amazing vibe. Thank you Chad for all your showmanship throughout the years
  • @educostanzo
Homie got so much control over every detail of what he's doing it looks like he's somewhere else in his mind, just chilling and vibing to the music his limbs are producing.
