Jensen Ackles - Batman: Under the Red Hood

He could really fit the role of Jason Todd. His voice and acting would be extraordinary in a live action movie of Red Hood!

In all honesty he is very underrated and I wish he would be in a movie already that showed off his talents. I hope they do the live action Jason Todd movie and go straight to him because fans are already loyal to him as a voice actor.

If they ever put Red Hood on Arrow (or in any movie or whatever) they should get Jensen to play him.  His voice is perfect.

There was a certain way his voice sounded in key scenes, like the chase scenes or the finale scene. Jensen's voice has an emotional quality you can't forget. It's a sort of rough, tough-love, cold voice with hints of empathy.

For the longest time I couldn't figure out why Jason's had THAT voice. To me it didn't fit, but in my defense the first time I stumbled onto the movie I was young, barely knew anything about Batman and was used to high-pitch cartoony voices (I learned to love his voice later on). Recently I started on Supernatural (late to the party, yeah) and almost immediately recognized Jason's voice (I said I learned to love it) but still... what made them choose Jensen among so many others? Was there any particular reason, or was it just chance? Could there be something connecting them-- AND THEN I SAW 'LAZARUS RISING'. I saw, banged my hands on the desk, put them in the air, closed my eyes in resignation, and swore never to question again. There will never exist a more fitting voice actor for Jason. Ever. At all.

I'm not a huge fan of Supernatural but Jenson knocked it out of the park with this one. I really hope he doesn't just retire after Supernatural ends because that dude is an incredible voice actor.
