  • I love your story. Thank you very much for this. I was adopted from Lima in 1989 and am Canadian as well. I've had no connection to my biological parents even though I would love to meet them and hearing about the connections you makes me hopeful and very happy. Would love to meet you. Cheers 💕
  • I am surprised this video has no comments. I can see you have been through a trying time. And it takes great courage for you to go through what you are going through. However this is your journey, your journey through life as only you can write it. I too am adopted and I have always know I am from the UK and different to you I was adopted alone when I was six months old. I knew I had a half sister but that was all. My birth family found me on Facebook about two years ago and we have been in contact ever since. I am now planning on going to Peru to meet them. More for my birth parents benefit than my own. I have always been intrigued as to who I look like. But more than anything and this goes for my mum here in England. I have just wanted to tell her she did the right thing she did the greatest thing an the hardest thing anyone could ever do. She gave me a life and not only a life....but a fantastic life and I just want to tell her that. Xxx
  • I’m watching your video because it was in my feed, plus I was also adopted (when I was a toddler). My adoptive fam fell apart and became highly abusive. I ran away at 16 yrs. old and have had the hardest time with self-esteem and caring about myself. I’ve recently realized my Sigma INFJ personality type (MBTI), because I’ve worked very hard to find some internal peace. My adoptive parents renamed me at 3 yrs. old, and the name they gave me was lame compared to my birth name (Charity Rose Walker). Anyway, I rejected their abuse and the name they gave me because I ordered my original birth certificate and adoption records and found out my actual birth name. I plan to ask the courts to give it back to me legally.
