All I need is Taokaka - BlazBlue Entropy Effect

The Taokaka solo run.

That's right. Who cares if this Roguelite spin-off of the BlazBlue series is built around rotating through your different characters each run? I sure didn't. To be fair, I didn't know at how much of a disadvantage I was putting myself with this challenge run, but surely I can beat the first boss regardless. Right?

Sure, the only character I even recognize is Taokaka, but I'm sure Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Noel GUNmillion, Hakumen, Lambda-11, Kokonoe, Hibiki Kohaku, Es and Mai Natsuma are all lovely. Definitely did not look any of those names up. I uh...have not played a BlazBlue game. Or any fighting game, really. I just like the funny cat lady, though I wish she wore pants. Or a shirt.

If you'd ask me to review the game with the few hours I have, I'd say it made a hell of a first impression. From what I heard, Taokaka is one of the strongest and generally best characters in the game, a fact which I did not know before recording this...so that might've made things a lot easier on my incompetent ass hahahah
From the simple combos to s p i n, Taokaka just FEELS good to play. I obviously did not make it to the ending of the game, but who knows - if this video does well I might just make more content on it. And hey, if it does not, I can still continue in private. I don't think this can or should stay a solo run if it continues, the game just isn't built for such a challenge run, but my bias for Taokaka will remain.

And yes, this is a Roguelite. Not a Roguelike. There's a difference, promise. It's even explained in the box of text during the intro - go check! I don't blame anyone for messing it up though, they're identical when it comes to everything that isn't progression carrying over between runs.
