Clearing up some things in this video. 1. I had no idea about how to pronounce Weil since these games don’t have voice acting, I just have to make it up on the spot. 2. I said I thought the final boss was easy, not because of cyber elves, but because the weapons were just that powerful as is, like charging up a recoil rod and bouncing on Omega’s Head. 3. Does it really make a difference if Zero’s mind is a copy or the same? Either way it boils down to the fact that he has MMX Zero’s personality, and not the body which means nothing since the mind is what matters which is all I cared about, not the tiny details. 4. I wish the game stated that the Guardians died, would have closed their book more conclusively. 5. I have seen the fan made Zero vs Omega video, it’s excellent! 6. All these official remixes are from “Mega Man Zero mythos” or just Mega Man Zero remastered ost.

I love how the fight against Omega really closes the book on Wily once and for all as his final creation is not destroyed by one of Dr. Light’s creations but by his own rebelling against him

I have a secret to tell you. I didn't have a GBA so I... well... I really wanted to play the Zero games so I downloaded an emulator with the five games in their respective folders. So I played the first, liked it, then the second, liked it. The third one was amazing and couldn't wait to play the fourth. It was also incredible and that ending... Oh boy! I needed to see the conclusion to the epic story, so I finally open the fifth folder... just to find porn. I've never been so disappointed in porn in my life.

I feel like the reason why Zero 3 lacks the star system (aside from the system being a bad gameplay mechanic), is because now that Zero has a stable place to be, he can just maintain his skills. In Zero 1, you could use the hyper sickness excuse Ciel mentioned to where he had to relearn his moves. Zero 2 could be explained through how tired he is and how he gave up everything to fight in that desert for a year. It's not a great explanation, but it's something I think about.

It's surprising how good Mega Man works when it basically turns into a Devil May Cry 2D platformer.

Nobody will see this but my first megaman game was zero 3 and it was because of it that I grew in love with the whole Megaman franchise. I played it so much that I can consistently S-rank no damage every missions (except the final one because it's too damn long) and find every secrets by myself without any guide.
  • The guardians actually die by the explosion caused by Omega's death, that's why they aren't on zero 4
  • You know, there's a strangely poetic beauty to the way things worked out in the ending. Zero started as a force that far surpassed X who sacrificed himself so X could move forward, and if you got the best outcomes in X2 and X3 then Zero was revived by X and Zero again put himself in harm's way for X's sake. This back and forth between them was a constant theme up all the way to X6. Now we've come full circle with X having used whatever energy he had left to ultimately sacrifice himself for Zero to move forward.

The European Megaman zero 3 art is there XD OMG I THOUGHT YOU WERE KIDDING
  • I would like to take the time to mention that back when Zero 3 was in development, the team had every intention to give Omega Zero the X series body, but due to time constraints from Capcom, this never came to be and we were left with a recolor of Zero.

Great video but you got the whole zero body a little mixed up The Zero we play as IS zero, the same as the X series, when he first sealed his body so he could help stop the sigma virus his "mind" was removed to protect it (coud be considered the X6 ending route) then eventually around the Elf wars, Weil obtained the empty body and placed a new consciousness, Omega, inside it and then built the giant omega body around it. Zero's mind was placed in a new spare body (built by Ciel's ancestor) and helped X defeat Omega and banish him and Weil, after that. Zero decided to seal himself again, forever, this is how he ends up in the lab in the gba era, still in his spare body but with the very same soul inside him

The Zero 3 ending brought tears to my eyes.. after so many eons, after being on the edge of our seat waiting for X to make a psychical return.. but because he used so much energy protecting those he cared for and the longevity of mankind.. we see what we all feared would happen.. X's time fighting has come to an end. In my headcannon.. i wanna believe that X Continues on in the Cyberworld, unable to communicate out of it due to him using so much of his remaining Psychical energy. For now.. until ZX comes into play.. X Can finally rest.. knowing Zero has the heart and strength to continue fighting this battle not just for X but for humanity and reploids alike, fighting for everlasting peace.

The game is designed to discourage you from using most of the powerups though. Any fusion elves you use permanently incur a penalty when you finish a level, so it's pretty clear they don't want you to use them. They're there if the game is too hard for you otherwise, and the result of using them is that the final boss becomes a pushover. This game has a lot of optional ways to make it easier and taking them really does do just that.

02:58 That is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in a long while. 10:03 You know what I wish they did in this scene to make it heavier? Make the named reploids other that the transporters come into the scene. Imagine how terrible it would've been to have Servo and Andrew raise guns against them, or even have Alouette come in to denounce them. Man... 13:56 Dammit. I love this story so much. Tears come from my eyes anything anyone adequately summarizes it. 15:37 Die. The word you're looking for it "die". They apparently died in the Omega Explosion. I know. It's a copout. I forgot the reason why the writer did that. 23:56 Yeah, cyberspace negatively affects your rank. Except in the phantom situation.

I enjoyed this MMZ series and it still sits as one of my top favorites. That being said, I think back and laugh at Weil trying to make Zero hesitate destroying Zero because if you think about how often Zero throws himself into danger and winds up wrecking his body just give his allies an opening through out his career. "Attachment" to his original body would be the last thing on his mind vs the thought of being his actual self and allies.
