I left Ottawa in 1962. We lived on Charlotte Street near Clarence Street. I've lived in Australia since 1965. I'm 71 now, I have children and grandchildren here in Sydney. I've travelled all over the world, but I still have family and a handful of friends in Ottawa, including a very dear old school friend. He sent me an email with a link to your YouTube channel. Jean, Thanks so much for your fascinating videos. I assume you must have worked at The National Film Board of Canada.

PS. We moved to Kanata in 68. Dad was the first Doctor there, in the mall under the Loblaws shop.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures, videos of Ottawa.

What's with the narrow vertical band of video ? I can't turn my big monitors and/or laptop sideways to get a vertical format, but telephone users can turn their devices sideways and make things appear normal.

Apparemment, c'est un conseiller municipal influent de l'époque qui avait dit: «We're gonna get rid of this French ghetto». C'est triste. Merci pour les partages de vos montages. Très intéressant

Why have you stretched the pictures horizontally ? The result is so distorted it's hard to distinguish landmarks ! St Brigid's church is almost unrecognizable and the Parliament Bulidings are short and squat.
