  • Maybe it's just me but these kids seem spoiled. For one, they are old enough to clean their own rooms. Secondly, if that boy would've thrown his backpack and jacket at me like he did when getting off the bus, it would've stayed there on the ground until he picked it up himself. Maaaybe just maybe if there was something wrong with them (she put some sort of medication by their cereal bowls) I could let that behaviour slide but it'd have to be a pretty good reason.

DAMN, these kids are spoiled they dont have to do a single thing

As if he threw his stuff at your feet to pick up. do they have no respect?

I was an Au Pair for a year in Europe and I don’t know if the US has different standards, but you were getting underpaid big time. Especially for the hours you were doing, and what you had to do for the kids. Absolutely spoilt they were, and the fact that he just threw his stuff at your feet. Doesn’t look like you are very appreciated for the work you do.

I am considering hiring an Au Pair. I’m a single mom who works from home with an 10 year old who I also homeschool. I thought I was exhausted until I watched the video...these kids are spoiled rotten. No way in hell would I treat an Au Pair like this...did these kids see their parents at all this day. This is absolutely INSANE.

That kid is too damn old to have you put toothpaste on his toothbrush. I thought he was like 3 or something.

Don't teach your kids that it's okay to pour the milk before their cereal! I like your camera transitions. very creative use of thing around you.

You are an awesome Aupair, any Host will want to have you by there house, excellent caring of the children and the home chores, but I felt sad for you, that is a lot of hours working, Aupairs do not work that much the way I saw you did, I hope you are going to college that's why you are their. All the best for you.

GUYs.... the boy back then was me. I apologize for my rude actions. I was really bad back then.

I really love these videos. I watched you before I became and aupair last year. I am now back in Sweden for my second year.....crazy to look back !!!!
  • I'll be an Au Pair in USA next year, I'm very nervous. I am from Argentina; Your video helped me a lot. Thanks for sharing your experience.

My first job at 17 was a nanny in Laguna Beach Ca for an 18 month old baby but luckily I got off at 5-6pm. You had a LONG day! Thanks for sharing. Being a Nanny is a great job for a young girl. Great learning experience. I learned how to be a Mom and that I was not ready to be a Mom yet. Haha!

6:35 I'm shocked ! I think that was really rude. He could picked up the bag but he didn't you did for him! He has to be polite he isn't a baby
