Hey guys and welcome to my channel! As you have probably deciphered from my channel name, I am both a mom and a police officer! I originally created my channel for motherhood and lifestyle content, but quickly realized I wanted to share the my love and passion for police work as well. I have been working as a police officer for the last 13 years and currently hold the range of lieutenant in a large metropolitan police department.
In this video I am discussing questions I have received recently both on Youtube and Instagram. From discussing emergency buttons to mental health; pregnancy as a police officer to finances as a police officer, I am explaining all the lengthier questions y'all asked of me.
The majority of police officers on the streets of America are incredible and amazing people, striving to serve their communities as best they can. Unfortunately, bad police officers do exist as well. If you have been unhappy with police services or had a bad experience with police, I am sorry you experienced that. I welcome you to get to know me and I hope that I can change your opinion for the better. Feel free to leave any questions you have down in the comments below and I will try my best to get back with you and/or create a video addressing them.
Much information about policing is not openly shared, but I believe it should be. In an effort to be transparent, I invite you to come along in this journey and I will share any knowledge I have with you. The next generation of police officers will become our law enforcement future and we must strive to always do better. I will also be creating content to help anyone, but especially women interested in law enforcement understand what to expect in every aspect of becoming and being a police officer.

Great video. I’m about to go into the academy and my wife is pregnant and due right in the middle of my academy, so I resonated with you. I’m bummed that I won’t be able to take off much time for the baby at all during the academy but such is the job. Keep up the great work!

What holster is used for your Glock 17, and can you modify it to meet your needs? Also, another question: can you buy your own body armor instead of having your department issue it to you? Because department-issued body armor can be uncomfortable. (Look up Safe Life Defense body armor. They are phenomenal, streamlined, and comfortable, and customized. You can set your vest up the way you want it, and decide exactly what you need for specific operations).
