Ovechkin...Lanny McDonald...Teemu Selanne...Dave Andreychuk...Ray Bourque...it's always good to see some of the guys that played the longest and finally got their moment to skate with the Stanley Cup. Those are the best. 🙂

What I love about this sport. No matter who’s the team you’re cheering for. Nothing beats seeing that cup lifted at the end of the day.

Millions of kids dream about it. Thousands of kids win it in their basements. It's crazy when you think you are seeing these grown men living out their life dream! In 2013, a study looked at 30,000 kids from Ontario that played youth hockey, 48 were drafted by an NHL team, and 39 of those 48 actually signed contracts with an NHL team. Of that 39, only 32 actually played in the NHL, and only 15 of those players played more than one full season. And finally, of that 15, only six played the minimum 400 games.

I wasn't even done with the waterworks from Bourque's cup lift, then you just had to show Konstantinov.. man. Those years from '97-'02 were an emotional roller coaster. I would've been in my early-mid teens when all this happened, while playing hockey 7 days a week in 2 different leagues. I'll never forget those years. Thanks for the video!

As a canes fan, I love Brind’amours. It was so fantastic and magical. Raymond Bourque’s was good too. Thanks for the great content, and keep it up.

I love how Sakic doesn't even take a lap of his own, he gives it right to Borque. Great example of a captain and exactly why he wore the C. Awesome moment.

Ovi, Bourque and Vladi.. those three cup moments are legendary. Also, it’s fun to see how the celebrations have evolved over the years. Really dull and weird in the old days up until the 90’s, just a small table and and grab the cup with no build up. 😄

I think I can safely say that the whole hockey world was cheering ovechkin on during the finals, even some crosby fans.
