Tesla Model 3 Performance refresh is ludacrisly quick, and actually meaningfully different from the base car refresh

  • Imagine going back 10 years in time telling that we will have a family car that does 0-60 in under 3 seconds for 54k. And then consider that we have also had an insane 20% compounded inflation since then
  • @oisiaa
This is a HELL OF A CAR for the $$$. It gets the full $7,500 tax credit (point of sale) which makes it roughly $45k out the door. Insane value!!!
  • If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you... prevent inflation
  • not only is this car excellent for the sticker price at $52,990, but it qualifies for the $7,500 EV tax credit making it $45,490 before any other qualifying incentives or taxes. WHAT?!?!

The non-clicky buttons was the first thing I noticed when you got in the car. As you said "we have been over this, this is not what we want"

Sir, your reviews are FANTASTIC! Just love your delivery, professionalism, and just a touch of personality. Comes off as very well put together!

Really appreciate the metric system being used in your vids lately. Keep up the good work
  • Thanks for commenting on the steering wheel non-button buttons! This car looks amazing, but I can't deal with buttons that don't click. It's bad enough that they got rid of the stalks.

Marques and the team really boosting the Auto Focus channel makes me happy.

As much as some people don’t like Tesla this is just so good

The fact that I had to look at the description to see what camera he filmed this on and then saw it was the iPhone 15 Pro, phone cameras, period, have come a looooooong way!
  • @Dcuddy

Still love my 2020 M3P, can't fault it after 4 years. Some nice upgrades here for sure.
  • @JohnMiller08
Oh man... I ALMOST ordered the base model last week 😂
  • @SNAPZ46
This morphed into a very aesthetically pleasing car!

Just FYI regarding the lack of a carbon ceramic brakes on the performance model. For this price range, it makes way more sense to have traditional steel brakes. When you start doing track days in this, you are going to be replacing brake parts at a much higher interval. And when replacing a carbon ceramic setup can be $10,000 or more, it gets painful unless you're stupid rich. So even though the CC brakes may offer better track performance, it's much more practical to stick with steel brakes (which also work and feel better in normal street driving to)
