Which one is the better hybrid shooter: Sony A6700 or Sony A7IV? 🤔
  • @paulm8157
Fair comparison and side by side photos, Curtis! Your POVs demonstrate what the cams can achieve — especial for trams😊. IMO, prior investments in one sensor size or the other, plus ergonomic preferences would dominate a buyer’s decision. Comfortable gear will be used more. Lots of interest in the shutter button red cover — adhesive add-on has limitations, but cool-factor remains, unless you don’t want to draw attention.😊 Cheers!

I just bought a Sony A6700 and have only been outside 1 time since I got it, currently sick 😷. But that one time at Copenhagen Airport, taken photos of airplanes, was definitely an eye opener for me. So much more clear photos compared to my old camera (sony RX10 IV)
  • @wearetrackclub
Nice comparison, Curtis! Insightful info and really cool shots 👌🔥
  • @bala1000mina
Thank you so much Curtis for the informative and helpful comparative video, i learnt precious stuff that will help me to choose the right camera! God bless and good luck on your photography journey!
  • @BrianParkes
Yeah I could tell, it was the perspective, particularly on the facial features. You had to use a wider lense on the A6700 to make the field of view match. The full-frame was definitely more flattering because of that lense. Thanks for this, its really useful as I'm looking at getting my first camera for video after years of professional photography and have been wrestling with aps-c vs full-frame and should I jump ship to a new brand and so these blind tests are very useful.
  • @PaulFeinberg
I could tell that full frame look. But they are both really good cameras! Great breakdown!
  • @alexeipg
Great vid! I actually consistently preferred the a6700 photos in the blind comparison.

Great video, very informative! And what I really like is that it made me doubt (AGAIN) the decision I thought I already made, which is going for the A7 IV. Upgrading from APSC to FF was what I thought I needed.. But now I'm not so sure anymore, even though I watched a lot (like a LOT) of informative videos on the few options that are available in my budget range. That shot of the A7 IV next to the A6700 with money for an extra lens that would give me that same-ish background blur was the nudge over the edge if the A6700 is going to be the one. Back to thinking about what it is that I need instead of what Sony wants me to think i need 😂 Thank you!
  • @lennardfpv157
Great content as always! Leaning more towards the 6700 but really wish it had dual card slots. I want to do some paid work in the future and think eventualy i will have to go full frame for the dual slots.

Nice video. I just bought the a6700 and I’m really happy with it. Will buy a full frame any time soon but will not get ride of this one. Thanks for the videos!
  • @thefilmalliance
Fantastic video. I kept on going back and forth on which was which. It's amazing to see the a6700 compares so well to the full-frame a7IV
  • @burrdaddy
I just purchased this camera and the benefits are many. I do just as much photography as video. I use the A73 and the A7S3. The 6700 has given me great redundancy in case there's a camera fail but is quickly becoming a preferred video option. The simplicity and light weight on a gimbal - by the end of a long day - have real value.

I was genuinely shocked what B was, great content man!! From 6400 moving to 6700 meh not worth the jump yet. Idd say however 1k jump to A7CR YES
  • @christuck45
Great video gonna get the a6700 with the lenses you recommended
  • @ruff1draft
I personally would purchase two mint condition used Sony A74'S and use both full frame and crop mode for filming. That way I can use both full frame and crop sensor lenses especially when getting versatile filming shots. But they are both great camera's. Plus the Sony A74 has two SD Card slots
  • @matthew_montoya_
Fantastic video! Where did you get the red shutter button for the A6700?
  • @KnownsenseFilms
I have a 6400 with 35mm 1.8 and 18-105mm f/4 and I am looking for main body now, I believe 7iv should be a better deal for me isn't it Curtis? or would you differ from my thoughts? I do videos mostly. Big up for the great video. Love from India ❤
  • @31427216
I was thinking on the a7iv but after this video maby one with more megapixels… but I don’t know if going for the alpha C cameras or the conventional 60 mp. What do you think? Meanwhile will buy a telephoto lenses. Still choosing… many to choose from. I like the new tamron 35-150, and the sigma 70-200 sport. Also the tamron 70-180 I think it is…
