"Circle of 5ths" Jam Track E7 A7 D7 G7 | Tom Strahle | Pro Guitar Secrets | Easy Guitar

I put "Circle of 5ths" in quotes because the four chords in this progression, E7-A7-D7-G7, represent only 1/3 of the entirety of the 12 circle of fifths chords. However, a four chord snippet of the circle is a common B section for many Jazz standards, country songs and bluegrass jams. For example the B section of I've Got Rhythm, a commonly used chord progression used in a lot of Jazz standards. It's often referred to as "Rhythm Changes" generically.
It's really fun to try to solo over this using a theme and variations. Come up with a lick that works over E7 then change it just enough to accommodate the A7 chord and then D7 etc. I plan to do a video or a series of videos on this subject.
TEN MINUTES LONG! PRO TIP - change speed for faster or slower tempos - .25 = 25bpm, .50 = 50bpm, .75 for 75bpm, 1.25 for 125bpm, 1.50 for 150bpm etc.
