Dog dies after being mauled in Vancouver

A Langley family is asking for help after their dog was allegedly mauled to death by a bigger dog on Second Beach on in Vancouver Monday evening. Kate Walker reports.

  • What if that had been a toddler. Why was the dog off leash? I feel so sorry for your loss. Poor little guy. May he rest in peace. I hope someone recognizes this owner and I hope they’re prosecuted for harbouring a vicious dog

    It is heart breaking, but better her dog than one of her children. A lot of dog owners are not responsible. They let their animals off leash and there are zero consequences for them when their animals attack. The police have time to investigate thought crimes against the state but things that destroy people's lives they seem to not care about. There are tens of thousands of dog attacks every year in Canada, leaving people disfigured for the rest of their lives, and yet we do nothing.

    Omg I feel the pain my doge buddies past away 😢 since than I couldn’t even think or dare to get a new one since 12 yrs or so l never try even dare to try coz when they leave us behind n there soul gone to haven which good but still it hurts 😢😢a lot god bless all dog soul bless ya all from Punjab
