some more comparisons that I didn't notice when putting this together: his up tilt is based on the laser dome deflection animation rather than DDD windmill attacks, he has sliding dash as his dash attack, and most importantly, the KH style finisher slowdown happens ingame when Sora defeats an opponent i also went with KH3 blizzard specifically because its the only blizzaga that has ever inflicted freeze as a status effect, at least without being a weird landmine like in Days

Sora's Floatiness comes from the amount of fans that's really happy that their Dreams they believed in came true.

You forgot his dash attack which is KH1 sliding dash ( but to be fair Sakurai also forgot to mention the move lol). Also Sora's back throw is a reference to Larxene "murge" reaction command from KH2 and I think his forward throw is the first hit from his KH1 air combo.

I love how Sakurai incorporated actual KH abilities into his moveset 💙

Wish he had his trademark attacks like ars Arcanum, ragnarok, etc but I'm still happy he's in the game

This is pretty good. The only thing I disagree with is Blizzard. It seems more like the KH1 shotgun blast than 3's big projectile.

dash attack is slide dash from kh1, sakurai doesnt mention it, but he uses it when he was talking about follow ups after firaga.

My only gripe is that his counter isn't reflect but thats so minor that I don't really mind in the end

I still can't believe Sora is really in Smash. Sakurai-San, you and your whole team are my heroes for this!

Hearing Sora's voice go from "prepubescent boy" to "grown-ass adult trying his darndest to sound like a teenager" is pretty funny.

I was a bit bothered that he had a counter but then I remembered how his guard worked in KH and to be honest I understood why they did it, it works quite well.

the opener on his side tilt autocombo is also Slapshot! it's amazing how much detail they put into Sora

They even have the original effects for Stopga! Haven’t seen those in years!

What's crazy is that Sora looks like how he does in the CG videos for the KH games, like in the intros and the secret endings and whatnot

I think his back throw is based off of the throw you can perform on heavy enemies when in flowmotion in 3D I think...
