Since early childhood, Lika has had very serious problems with her eyesight. When Lika grew up, in order to help her family in some way, she got a job in a factory making paper flowers. But suddenly the girl is overwhelmed by grief - her father dies and poor Lika has to look after her brother Alexei and sister Nastya, who are much younger than her. To make matters worse, her stepmother kicks the children out of the house immediately after the funeral. With nowhere else to go, Lika decides to live temporarily in her late grandmother's country house, which has been empty for a long time. The villagers try to help the poor children in any way they can, but even among them there are villains. Eighteen-year-old Dima rapes the unfortunate Lika, and the police refuse to accept her statement. Soon after, Dmitri dies in an accident in the army, and his mother Tamara tries to take Lika's newborn baby away from her. Toma's brother Ivan comes to Lika's aid, protecting her and little Sasha with all his might. Gradually Ivan begins to realise that he has fallen in love with Lika, but she does not want to be with him because he is the local uncle of the man who dared to rape her.

    Why would they cut the scene with the lil sister she was called in for cake did she go did she come out is that her cry when the big sister get to the fence did he rape her to is that's why the sister when in to safe her?? I don't and then u c her sitting at the table 😕 confusing 😮
