I really appreciate this video! Not for the reason you may think - but for showing the Barbies being assembled by hand! Several vendors have been caught red-handed selling #3s with repainted face eye and brow makeup! But after being turned in, they reposted their sales, claiming that the marks on the #3s thighs on their fake #1s, are from, "the machines used the assemble them." Which I knew wasn't true, as I have a Barbie 3/4.
  • When it comes to #1-#3 Barbie Mattel Also tried different sizes of body parts -Torsos may be thinner waist, necks may be shorter or longer armor legs may be longer and in the case of #3s with brown eyeliner the head may be a bit larger and she may or may not have nipples . many times it you line up dolls from this period they aren't necessarily all the same height but the clothes still fit all the dolls just sometimes tighter or looser . As for Ken ,After the #1 flocked hair Ken ,all the early thin build painted hair 1960s Kens may be different heights, torso sizes arm/leg lengths but again they can all wear the same size clothes . Some painted hair 1960s Ken doll's heads may turn ghost- white . i have `1 Allen who's head has the same peanut-oil condition as a #5 Barbie So i paired him with a #5 Barbie for display. If i wash their heads regularly i can keep the oil under control but they will always have to be out and displayed in outfits that i am not concerned about .

When Barbie first came out, I was with my mom walking through a department store when I saw my first Barbie doll. I was enthralled and couldn't stop staring at her. So, this 7-year-old boy knew then he liked girls.
