First seen in Ultimate Fantastic four issue #21, the hunger virus is one of the most virulent pathogens present within the marvel multiverse. While the precise origin of the infection is unknown, what we do know is that a Temporal paradox is responsible for its existence in multiple universes.

Imagine being quicksilver, fastest man alive and still getting infected

4:28 "A zombiefied Quicksilver" Holy fuck that's an awesome and terrifying idea.

I always loved how the Hunger Virus would affect certain individuals, like Thor becoming unworthy to wield Mjolnir and using a makeshift hammer out of rebar and concrete, Wolverine's adamantium skeleton being able to rip through his rotting flesh as a zombie, making one of his arms fall off, numerous heroes with healing factors taking longer to infect before succumbing and no longer being able to heal, Black Bolt's vocal cords rotting, removing his dangerous voice powers, but allowing him to speak in the process, Bruce Banner ability to turn into the Hulk based off his appetite than anger, and the Venom symbiote incompatible with an infected host, killing it slowly. There is, though, a bunch of inconsistencies in infection, like Luke Cage having unbreakable skin and the zombies not being able to bite through it (Though you could say zombie Sentry might be able to bite through it, given how powerful Sentry is), Ghost Rider being infected in his Rider form....somehow, and some others might point out that I missed. Kinda takes away from some of the cooler details at times.

Normal zombies: BRRRAAAAIIIINNNNNSSS (shuffles towards you) 2149 zombies: excuse me sir, you wouldn’t mind lending me your arm? My hunger is giving me a major headache (pounces at you and rips your insides out)

From the darkness, you hear one simple phrase before you get eaten: "Feed me seymour"

this comic series scared the heck out of me whenever i read snippits of it at Barnes and Noble
  • The Marvel Zombies universe always freaks me out despite not actually being afraid of zombies in general.

I remember this story and how sacred it made me. I hate zombies since they legit leave in full fear but aside from that I cried while reading the parts involving Spiderman since he really tried and successfully doing right by Aunt May and MJ. He even as a zombie still tried to be a good person and even mastermind the solution that would destroy him and the others. It really got to me.

Damn I would’ve thought that Galactus would’ve been safe from the the hunger virus, but he instead became its biggest meal😂

Didn't Marvel zombies at one point had a Evil Dead crossover which resulted in Ash Williams ending up in a Multiverse where the Marvel heroes were werewolfs and infected with the hunger?
  • I remember reading this series for the first time and SWEET MOSES WAS I NOT PREPARED. The gore, the savagery, the artwork of Kirk-man's focus on us witnessing our favourite Marvel characters succumbing to the Virus and becoming savage, obsessive and ever-consuming creatures, still possessing powers and their previous abilities, but now evoked towards simply feeding their own never-ending hunger for flesh.

Goddamn, one minute they're saving the World next thing you know they're eating your guts out. Great video!

I think super power zombies is a interesting and scary concept. I kind wish someone well explore the concept instead of a one shot.
  • You forgot to Mention That This was Completely Magneto Fault when he made the deal with Santana😮
  • @IcyNoJutsu
I used to be terrified of these comics as a kid. Now I love* it!

Alright, Just because even after you explained it and I rewatched the part where you explained it 3 times, The Zombie Plague started because the watcher sent the infected sentury into the past to make sure it doesnt do more to the present and this ends up causing the Zombie Plague to start. Its basically on loop with no proper beginning or ending
