    To be fair the only reason the Community turned into a "PvP-Like" Community is because the Devs treat this game like a PvP game for some reason

    It's important to note that while yes, they do nerf a ton of weapons, more importantly they directly and indirectly buff enemies on TOP of nerfing weapons. Notably the arc thrower. They nerf the range, increase charge time, but increase stagger so you could stunlock Hulks and everybody loved it. Then they decide to buff Hulk stagger resist so you can no longer stagger Hulks. Eruptor can take down scout striders in one shot? Guess we'll nerf the eruptor, make it so that there's almost no reason to take it, and then buff scout striders resistance to explosive damage so it takes more time to kill for explosive weapons in general now.

    I really hate the Railgun revisionism we see now. The RG was not broken, it took two shots to a chargers leg to strip the armor, then three more to kill. It took 12-16 shots to a bile titan head to kill them as well. The reason it was nerfed was because the devs dislike Meta and they were trying to hide a game-breaking PS5 bug that allowed people to one shot or two shot Bile Titans. This bug also affected the Recoiless Rifle but nobody noticed because of the reload.

    The game went from being fun.. to being part of a focus group experiment on how to manage a live service game.

    It's not only that most weapons suck, it's the thought that EVEN IF I find something fun cus it's effective, it'll get nerfed into the ground. All while the enemies get harder my tools get taken away. That's great for player agency. Thanks Alexus: who already did this to Hello Neighbor 2.

    I think it is important to remember people bitch so much is because they care and want this game to be better. Otherwise people just wouldn’t say anything and stop playing.

    17:38 to add to this: They argued that the Eruptor was prone to doing teamkills and the newly added ricochet mechanic had the unintended side effect that the shrapnel can travel up to 50m back to the player and kill you. So instead of removing or reworking this busted mechanic that adds nothing to the game except for randomly punishing you for shooting the horde in a horde shooter, they just nerf the weapon that showcased why this mechanic is not well implemented.

    Too many people concerned about power creep in a PvE game. It’s not power creep, it’s a galactic arms race. Lore wise, does it make sense for the weapons of war to devolve?

    Maintaining such intense focus on gun balance/enemy spawns when there are so many issues since launch, and more added with each patch, is such a baffling state of just terrible priorities on AH part.

    Last time I played Helldivers was three weeks ago. The bugs were annoying enough already, but the fact that the devs were putting more effort nerfing weapons instead of prioritizing the bugs (game bugs, not terminids) really put me off from playing to this day. Edit, clarification on "bugs"

    this community needs to work together, half say “dude its fine i never had issues so skill issue” then the other half is this, actually addressing and wanting to solve problems. Just because we say something is underpowered doesnt mean we hate the game. this community is borderline toxic.

    Free the Eruptor, it sucks now. It used to be fun to play and wasn't complete broken but now feels pitiful. The shrapnel is gone and it feels like it does no splash. I can justify decreasing spare mag and mag size but the damage nerf was unnecessary. Fuck the balance team

    -As a new player I really am not finding the game as fun as was told to me by the community.- Weapons feel anemic and bots feel RIDICULOUSLY op. Whoever is balancing the game is sincerely ruining the game. You're not imagining things.

    They shouldn't be nerfing guns but bringing other guns up to the right level.
  • They've nerfed and fucked with the weapons and strategems so much that there is only really effectively three weapons you can choose from everything else is a waste of time.

    Funniest thing ever is sony like "what, our game sells and pefectly works all over world? We can't have that! Restrict 180 countries, we don't want their money, fk those people!"
