Regarding the ending, there's a quote I saw in Ryuugi's story "Sect", about how "if nothing you do matters, all that matters is what you do". After a bit of googling seems to be from the titular main character in the 2001 episode "Epiphany" of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff series Angel. In the story I saw the quote in, one of the two main characters is going through an extensive induced hallucination/dream sequence, with the external framing being a series of tests, and the most extensive test replaces a lot of her post-isekai memories with ones more congruent with her original world's.

Did Tyler really never come across a single secret by accident? I'm amazed he didn't try to pile stuff up to go up on the roof; I think that was when I first realized there are secrets everywhere.
