I can still remember the first time I fought Sephiroth in KH1. I just started his battle, thinking it wasn't going to be a big deal. I never got into Final Fantasy as a kid, so I didn't know much about him in general. That didn't matter, however. The INSTANT this music started...my blood ran a little cold as I realized just how well and truly fucked I was.

Not knowing who Sephiroth was when I played this battle the first time, All I knew was that there was a cutscene, which was weird for an Olympus Cup/Battle, some mysterious anime guy descends literally from the heavens, has a bitchin', 7 foot long katana, a terrifying theme tune, and doesn't say as word as he eviscerates me in 4 seconds. I trained for many, many, many hours before I finally defeated him. And it was worth it.
