About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.

After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commerci

So glad I came across this video, very insightful. And your storytelling is wonderful (I will learn from your Capri experience and buy the return ferry ticket in advance). Kind thanks!
  • Hello from sunny California. My husband and I love your Italy videos, we are heading there in May and are watching every video so we can take your advice for our trip. 😘
  • Thank you very much for your advice! Visiting Napoli in four months!

In early May 23 we visited Naples via Costa Cruise.. Great walking streets. Delicious soft folding pizza.. even a free concert.. a giant McD.. my mobile phone got picpocketed.. however the sharp Quadra Mobile Police caught the robber within a few hours.. they traced us on the cruise list.. and brought the phone in the port to me.. a big shout out to the Napoli Italian Police.. Enjoy Napoli its a nice walkable old town..

great Video...On our last cruise with Celebrity we cruise to Italy and the Greek isles, docked in Naples and we toured Sorrento and Pompei...Our next celebrity cruise we will board in Barcelona and stop in France Nice , Monti Carlo, Pisa/Florence, Naples, Rome, Corsica then to Barcelona. This time while in Naples we will go to Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
  • Your video was entertaining and very helpful. I’ve subscribed because I want to watch more. The Continuing story link didn’t work for me. What do you use it for? My husband and I will be in Naples in September. I’m looking forward to seeing more of what was found in Pompeii and Herculaneum. Do you talk much about the Naples Museum in your other videos?
  • Great video! Could you advise if taking a bus to Pompeii (Naples Metropark Centrale to Piazza Falcone e Borsellino) is something to consider as an alternative to the train? Best Wishes!
  • Thank you for this information! Visiting Naples in July via Celebrity. Would like to take a Ferry from Naples to either Sorrento OR Capri. Would like to know which location you suggest for scenery, shopping, and experiencing the culture in a few hours visit. Looking to make the most of this port!
  • Love your videos very helpful visiting in June can you please advise where can I book the ferry ticket from naples to Capri? Do you have a website I can use? Thanks 😊

Thank you for the very informative tips visiting Naples. I’m planning my trip to Italy mid October and will arrive to Naples from Rome by train. My question is, should i stay in Sorrento for a few days to visit the Almafi Coast or should i stay in Naples which that would be certainly more to visit in Naples by the end of October than in Sorrento and visiting Almafi from Naples in a day trip? I’d go to visit Pompei from Naples which is very close to the city. Thank you 🙏
  • Hello to both of you, great video as usual, I will be cruising out of "ROME" in late October, I will be required to show a negative antigen test, can you tell me where and how much does it cost? Thanks in advance, if you can help me, flying from the US.
  • Great info. Thank you. We're taking a cruise in July of 2024 and our first stop is Naples. We'd like to see Pompeii and do some sort of food tour. Not sure how long it'll take us to disembark the ship to schedule some tours. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
  • @22Jeffreyb
As always, fantastic. We have never been to Naples because we heard it was very dangerous. We will use your recommended means and give it a try. Thanks.

Good stuff as always guys and thank you treating Naples as a destination and not just a gateway. A special shout out to the Veiled Christ, IMO the most spectacular sculpture in Italy. A couple warnings (1) walking around Naples involves hills (2) the only time I’ve ever felt unsafe in any cruise port ever involved a crazy cab drive in Naples - driving over train tracks not at a crossing, driving the wrong way down a busy road, etc. Finally, I’m thinking of going to Procida my next time in Naples. Any thoughts?
  • @MaryHenrich
Hi Rick and Andrea I was trying to find any videos on a 1 day trip to Capri from Naples.. I didn't find anything from you guys I would love to hear your suggestions since I will be there this september Thank you I love you guys!!!
