  • yes, the "Living Ship" mission should exactly be like it is. There is a reason for a real life timer here, because the game has already tons of "run-through" missions. The same applies to the frigate missions, where you also have to wait a couple of hours and you can only run those missions once a real life day. I don't have any interest in quickly get maxed out everything, it should take years of real life to accompish this, so i want to get back to the game every day to get just the one step closer.

The first 'Living Ship' is designed to be run in conjunction with other tasks, same as the Settlements & any other RL time-sensitive mission. You don't need to turn off your device (or just exit the game) for 24hrs to wait for it, as it'll progress naturally as you do other stuff: the in-game tips (BR corner) even suggest you do such! WRT this speedrun attempt, don't forget you can buy metal plates from pretty much any planetside vendor (eg the trading port at RV3), reducing the time taken to collect the necessary ferrite dust; this is where a beacon pole may be useful, as minor settlements always have a trade point. WRT marked-but-blank waypoints, if you fly /really/ low (& slow) across them, they can be activated/cancelled & hence removed without having to land IME The chart given as a reward /will/ point to an ancient site (perhaps in only the starter or RV1 system), but if you 'contaminate' it by buying more charts, none of them will work; this should save at least 1 battery, with the reduction in mag ferrite etc required I forget if the 'rescue' reward is essential earlier, but if not, you can guarantee to find a crashed ship to fix at RV5 :)

Feel free to speed run on Monday, always dig watching you do that.
  • Speed run 5+h? 🤣 In slow pace it's done in 6. Still using the reverse psichosys to get views?
