After 15 years of traveling the world as a content creator, I finally made it to my 97th country, Belize! At just a two-hour flight from my hometown of Miami, it’s a wonder I’d never made it there before now, but now, I was ready to explore the country in-depth!

🇬🇩 Grenada Travel Series:    • The Ultimate Grenada Street Food Tour...

TAYSHA’S GRILL: At this small shop near the airport, I tried the national dish (rice and beans) with stewed chicken, plantains, macaroni salad, pickled onions with habaneros, and a Belikin beer!

ORIGINAL #1 PUPESERIA SALVADOREÑO: Here, I tried freshly-made mozzarella cheese pupusas topped with cabbage and tomato sauce. The habañero hot sauce and roasted garlic hot sauce are extremely hot!

NERI’S TACOS: Here, I had a fish empanada, as well as garnachas (fried, puffy tortillas topped with beans, cheese, and chicken). I washed it down with some horchata, a rice milk drink with sugar and cinnamon.

BLACK & WHITE GARIFUNA RESTAURANT: Here, I had some strong, herbal rum!

STREET VENDOR: We came across a vendor selling street tacos. The beef with chilies, lettuce, guacamole, and cheese was an amazing fusion of Latin foods!

PARADISE ICE CREAM: Here, I ended my day with their incredible Chocolate Suicide flavor on a waffle cone. The dark chocolate was excellent and a refreshing way to end my street food tour of San Pedro!

I think I’m gonna have to go to Belize. If it was two hours from Miami it’s probably three hours from Fort Myers. Thanks for another great video David.😊

  • Hey David. I had 1 day in Belize on a cruise years ago. A coworker is from there and she said and does speak English and Spanish. I only came across English speaking. That 1st plate is popping 🙌🏼 with that Belkin 🍺. Oh. You can take luggage 🧳 on the water taxi 🚕 so it’s big. QUESTION: golf carts only? Ok. You just passed a blue van. But the streets look small so carts probably better. The pupusa’s look 😋. Choking cheese pull 😂. The empanada look airy. Minimal filling. The juices look 😋. The Puri looking delight with beans/cheese was so big. A meal; not a snack 😂. That shot glass filled to the rim 🙌🏼🥃. Yesssss with the herbal rum. 😅. Oooo. 🍦. Chocolate 🍫 peanut 🥜 butter 🧈 for me please. Amazing day. Don’t know where you put all the food David. Thanks for sharing and see you tomorrow 🤗

David you brought back some excitement with the first of this Belize series. Where are the cars at? Love the fun of traveling in golf carts on cobblestone roads. Remember the Kenyan massage🤣🤣🤣. The first lady sounded like a Trini. We say rice and beans, (red beans), not rice and peas, and it looks like Trini food. I love all the foods that you and Nathan have eaten so far. Why do fried foods look so scrumptious 🤔 and taste so good?😋 I heard some Espanol spoken too. Best ice cream is homemade. Too much chocolate suicide and tu es muerto🤣🤣🤣. I love how Belize reminds me of the old towns. Should I say rustic!!!🤔. Great start to this one. Hasta luego mi amigo. ❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
