    As a teacher, I can attest to the negative effects of screen time on behavior and academia. Parents need to take this issue more seriously and get informed.

    Translation: put lazy protection programs on your kids' computers while putting in zero effort into spending time with them. Then sleep at night not knowing they're smart enough to bypass any restrictions you put on them.

    As a 15 year old I get jealous hearing my mom talking about how all kids used to be outside back in the day 😂.

    As a 15 year old I wish that my screen time was more restricted when I was younger. Parents have to teach their kids how to regulate their own screen time.

    My Daughter, the mother of 6, only allows the kids to use their Nintendo Switch and iPads on the weekends for a set time because she notices a massive negativity in their behaviour if they have free reign.

    I’m on my phone when I’m at home, but not constantly. There’s chores that you can do in and around your home, hobbies like playing an instrument, take a walk, exercise. At least that’s what I do to keep my self productive and off the screen.

    My eye sight for distance has gotten worst I’m so used to seeing things on my phone screen or iPad mini so now having to look at a distance is getting worst

    I am a software engineer. I get paid to look at a screen all day long and program. I need to take breaks after a couple hours of work and walk outside in order to escape the screen.

    My nephew is addicted to screens. They had an iPad for him before he was 2. He can't go anywhere without it. Constantly in front of iPad or television. His parents are no different.

    When there is no screen time, young kids read books, color, play and talk to others in the home. Turn the TV/computer on and all that goes out of the window.

    I am almost 20 now and Im actually glad I had screen limits. Now that im an adult I sometimes find it hard to go offline.

    Kids can act and literally be someone else on online. Thats why they're addicted but it is messed up how they start acting like that person in real life.
